I mention Real in the 50's getting a hop on the rest of European football and you mention Eusebio in the 60's. By the 60's post WWII was less a factor as you can tell by migration levels out of Europe by why bother applying logic to an opinion.Madridista612 wrote: Anyway, I see your civility goes out the window when someone has an opposing opinion to yours, so we'll have to agree to disagree
erm?Madridista612 wrote:defending will almost never win you a tournament
The European Cup began in 1955 (10 years not enough to get over the effects that WWII had on football??). Also was there a dramatic shift of caring about the tournament between 1960 (when Real Madrid won its last of the 5 in a row) and 1961, When Eusebio won with Benfica??? It seems at least a little unreasonable to suggest.Translator wrote:I mention Real in the 50's getting a hop on the rest of European football and you mention Eusebio in the 60's. Inter have always been extremely defensive, having played with players like Baggio, Recoba, Vieri & Ronaldo all in the same team at times which won nothing was down to being too defensive.![]()
No you don't have an opposing opinion, just irrelevant points. So to show my civility I wont bother adding anything to the discussion. I'm not a believer in pushing **it up hill. Enjoy your "rebuilding program" which recycles every 12 months and you're aspirations which are on par to American aspirations of peace in the middle east, sure you might eventually win one at the cost of billions while your fans face unemployment levels of 20%, I hope you really enjoy it.
Looks like our shirt sales have been given a boast, not to mention the Real fans preparing to roll out the red carpet for Inter's fans.

you don't think 73 million people dying would take more than 10 years to "get over"Madridista612 wrote:The European Cup began in 1955 (10 years not enough to get over the effects that WWII had on football??). Your whole club is based around anti-football in fact wasn't catennacio pretty much invented by Inter Milan through Helenio Herrera?? Since then, you've more or less had the same style of defensive football (with some slight tactical tweaking over the years to suit players, coaches etc.) but honestly you can't tell me that Inter Milan's ethos isn't built upon the notion of defensive football.
Our rebuilding program recycles every month...your rebuilding program has been going since 1965. Our aspirations are an ideal, if you don't aim high that's fine there's absolutely nothing wrong with that...but criticising someone for aiming as high as possible (whether they fail or not) reaks of jealousy. It just seems like you've taken the attitude of...well my team is never going to reach anything even close to perfection so I'm going to criticise those that do strive for it.
...I can't control how many of Real Madrid's fans are unemployed...in fact considering we have millions around the world i'd say those 20% figures are way off, when you factor into account all the children around the world that support Real Madrid...and even if you don't want to factor them in, there would be a lot of people across the African and Asian continent with no job. Real Madrid are free to spend as much as they can reasonably afford, if that happens to be billions then so be it, Inter Milan does exactly the same, as does every other club in the world.
You don't think any players were in the war? You don't think they lost family or team mates? You don't think stadiums were destroyed or damaged? You don't think some clubs were financially crippled after the war? You don't think the division of Germany impacted on German football?Madridista612 wrote:I clearly made a point of saying...the effects it had ON FOOTBALL...ONNNNNN FOOOOOOOOTBALLLLL and yet some f-tard still manages to think that what i'm saying is that all damage as a whole that was done during WWII is completely gone within 10 years...Lopperman...REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAD the post theeeeeen comment you stupid d*ick
... and get over mental anguish...Madridista612 wrote:Pretty sure the civil war had similar effects in Spain as the World War had everywhere else. Maybe Real Madrid was fortunate to not be as affected by the war but it doesn't really explain why other teams were winning it after 1960...I mean if the effects on football were so widespread then surely Real Madrid would have been winning for decades after, after the effects have truly worn off. 10 years is also enough time to build new stadiums, buy new players etc.

They are the best, best players, best ground, best groundsman, president never makes mistakes, players never make mistakes, won 48 billion trophies and sold 8, 876, 875, 900, 987 shirts.
What would I know, the best thing my club ever did was house Maradona. Thats all we are known for.
