I am sure it won't - we have always had hard but fair battles against Macoes but never any issues.

Hopefully our pitch should be great tonight. A fair amount of rain last night should have softened it up abit :)

See you out there :)

Thank God for that!

I will definitely have a beer after the B's game unless I have to sit on the bench for the A's!

Good game for the reserves.

3 - 2 final score for the Maco's

Scoreline could have been a few more for both sides.

First Team was 2 - 1 to Blue Eagles - thought we played quite well, but Macoes came back towards the end.

187, we were actually leading that game last season, but Macoes were hungrier for the win. Hope you are not implying anything sinister took place? :clown:

OISC C 3 - 3 Gleeson
OISC D 0 - 5 Gleeson

Was told that Gleeson were rotating only about 18 players, so not sure which side was predominantly playing.

Yes that's true.

Good result for Knights especially without the new recruits playing this week.

Maybe this year they r the real deal - the pressure mounts on the Knights now as each week with their results people are expecting them to be right up there at the end of the season in the promotion mix

Great goal for 16 year old Leigh ( not Matty) Harrison in the A's.
I think when Alan Jones came on in the Reserves, he and I raised the combined team average age quite a few notches :D

Yeah...

C's 4-1 (I think) vale
B's 3-2 Vale
A's 5-3 Vale

All in all 3 pretty good matches. A's got a bit fiesty at times but it's good to see the boys playing with some passion.

Heard in the Gully Florina game today, which ended up being 2 - 1 to Florina that Derek Simpson in a collision with the goal keeper went down and couldnt feel the left side of his body and was then taken away by an ambulance, I hope everything is ok as he is a great bloke and a terrific footballer. Can anybody from Gully or Florina shed any light on this?

Mate there is no pressure on us. You and a couple of others believe there is pressure on us to win div 2 this season. We would love to win the league dont get me wrong. But there is a long way to go this season. Lets wait to see how it goes before you all try predict our future.
We showed today that with or without new recruits we will give it our best shot. Good game today lads.
