I know of several people, including my son who has paid for scarfes from these guys and never recieved them. We dealt with Jason, who is apparently the 'merchandise committee member' for this lot, and he came up with different stories as to why they were not recieved, eventually he stopped taking my calls.
I have even contacted them through thier web page with no luck.
I think Top Gun Jimmy and his mates are just out to make a few extra dollars at the expense of young Adelaide United supporters.
so again, I advise you not to pay for anything upfront, you will just be burnt.
Hi Champ.
My name is Shaun, and I'm a comittee member with the Red Army.
Ill point out a few things in a hope to resolve this.
Jason is no longer our merchandise manager, but is still a member of our Comittee.
As far as we are aware, There is only 1 lot of scarves that werent recieved that were pre-paid (1 lot of Three Scarves)
Jason advertised the times and places to pick up the scarves (at both the pre-game pub and in town on more than 10 occasions) and even gave out his personal mobile phone number so that he could be contacted.
The scarves were not picked up after several months. On Grand Final Day, there was a mix up and the scarves we had on hold and they were sold. Unfortunately, due to batch numbers and prices we werent able to re-order until later on this year.
Since then, the person who had not collected their scarves was spotted selling stickers with our groups intellectual property on them without our consent or prior knowledge.
Jason Receieved 25 missed calls while he was working from someone with a private number.
The person posting on the website posted the same thing over and over again - 7 times within an hour. The information that was asked for Was Jason's mobile number which the person already had. It only happed once (23rd April) under the username of "Ramsey". As for the Contact Us Email - im assuming that was the one that was send Saturday and replied to on Sunday.
When the Scarves were re-ordered, Jason was in Europe and we had no way of contacting the person who had not collected thier scarves.
Jason is now back from Europe and As discussed in the comittee meeting, we are honoring the deal as planned. In fact, while writing this post I've talked to the merchandise co-ordinator who tells me that he replied to an email from yourself yesterday and that you can pick them up from his office in the City or at the Elephant on Friday Night.
I'll apologise for your son not receiving the product he purchased as yet, but i can assure you our people have done everything possible to rectify the situation.
As of July this year, the supporters group has registered itself as an Organisation with the National Government, and as such all of our business practices are closely monitored.
If this isnt fixed soon, please pm me and ill sort it out for you.
Cheers
Shaun
