Only results I know of were the Downs B's beat Para 3-0 and I heard that The Grove B's beat Angle Vale 3-2.

B's Grove 4 vs Angle Vale 2
A's Grove 5 vs Angle Vale 1

I think the Downs A's beat Munno Para 3-1

As an independent observer over the past two weeks they Downs and Para boys will do extremely well this year. Grove has recruited very little from what I have seen and are still continuing to pump long balls consistently. Downs and Para on the other hand pushed the ball around well with confidence and both teams looked extremely strong on the ball.
Just my thoughts anyone else?

Is McManus going around again for Munno Para? Is Docherty still at the Grove?

Well seen as he was one of the winners (or at least up there) for the div2 player of the year i think he would be someone they would have wanted to keep ahold of.
Cant see para getting back up after losing so many players.

We have only lost 2 players this year. We have picked up a couple of players who look promising and there maybe another decent signing on the cards.
All in all we have basically the same team as last year and we have playing fairly well in the two trial games so far so were not worried at all.

as for SM, he was only in the top 6 for the league because he followed the referee around the pitch all game always in his ear, plus hes been around for a while, he didn't even feature in the club best and fairest...

Shows the damage one club playing a suspended player can have on another club

I try to be very "Diplomtic" (sic) but honest and fair at the same time....no names were mentioned.
But Munno Para will be hurting from the divisional drop.

PS - It's the City Of Onkaparinga Council Chambers !

havin a laugh arent ya? Para will be good the main reason being they are and always will be a div 3 team. As for the Grove have picked up 4 new first teamers along with losing nobody so fail to see how we have done nothing. Sour Grapes as 1 possibly 2 munno para boys moving on to look for greener pastures perhaps :D

para has lost their keeper but have an able replacement of the same quality, macca who is a runner and a forward which has gone to play b grade at the downs. have regained an injured striker and signed a new midfielder. pretty much even i think
