All the Greeks refs can understand them when they swear at them in Greek

Probably more a case of to many of them taking points off each other. Very surprising though Mr X. Shall be an interesting discussion we can have in Bali :D

Wow, three players from Brahma Lodge! And no Bosna players either! Also, disappointing that Pischettola wasn't in the top 6.

Sunday Div2

Steven McManus - Munno Para
Adam Dunt - P.H.E
David Rooney - Knights
Steven Stefanopoulos - Vikings
Alex Emilov - Vikings
Josh Hilditch - West Beach

I know I will be accused of being biased but thats fine. This just shows that Referee's really have no idea on certain things relating to playing the game. Im going to name the player that I thought should be in the top 6 and its Derrick Simpson. Not taking anything away from Steve who I know personally BUT to be in the top 6 makes me scratch my head? Munno Para won 3 games for the year and got relegated.

Good luck to those in the running.

Don't know the player you are refering to, but its not just about being the best player on the ground, its also the fairest. Which means, when you get tackled hard, how do you react. Some players, can shrug it off and keep playing without reacting nasty or unsportsmanlike.

Great work there Dunty!!! Great to see some recognition for a stellar comeback year!
One to watch out for the future here guys.

Anyways to go through the top six:
Steve: Would poll well in a poor side. Might not get the top votes though cos they were beaten in most games.
Adam: We didnt lose too many games and should poll well in almost every game.
Mooney: I have no idea who Rooney is, but i'm pretty sure its mooney. He could poll well, he caused havoc against us once. Not sure if he missed games though/
Stefanoplous: Absolute quality in the first game we played against them. Though i thought he missed a few games he did score a lot of goals from midfeild.
Emilov: Scored plenty, but wasn't outstanding in the games against us.
joshy: PLayed well against us and had plenty of the ball. Might poll well i think.

My tip is either dunty, stefanopolous or Josh

Clearly the ref's aren't giving the votes to the correct people! How about Perre from Villa, he practically guided his team to another championship. D. Bronca from the Monarchs was outstanding! Katsabis from the comets was class all year. And clearly they left out the ref from budapest, he's the best player the club has ever had

Well done to the SPOC lads!!! great work to have 2 in the top 6. I think that both have a real chance as even though Ollie didnt have a fantastic year, winning it last year certainly helps catch the eye. And with Steve, he played very well, in the toughest defence in the league.
Who the hell is Robert Lane???
Can't believe there is no Dom Musci either? I think that Tony will be tough to beat.....

Dom scored pretty much all of his goals in spurts, so he wouldn't have been getting consistent points. He'd get 2, 3 or even 4 in a game and then not score for a game or 2. Luckily in the second half of the season we had Della up front to pick up the slack in those games and so if Dom wasn't scoring, Della was. Once we put Della up front he was also averaging over a goal a game.

WTF????? No cbf gk!! What were the ref's watching.... All season long too. Going by the match reports (from himself), he managed to keep Athelstone in every game.

Think this might be Nick or Barrys medal IMO.

I'm not surprised at all that Kelly is in the top 6. He is a quality player with some very nice skills when on the ball. Played the Downs 3 times this year & he was the best player all 3 times + he has been a very consitant player for them for years

Out of the 6 you cant go past Big Ennis & Pauly but Pechy is a good player & known by the refs having won Div 2 B&F couple of times. Kelly like i said will be in the mix also

Surprised Westervelt is not in there thou  but we all said Nicholls would win it last year after winning the Vale the league off his own boot but Chris popped up to win it, so it must take more than that to catch the refs attention

& hopefully Dunty gets up to win Div2, good luck mate

Good luck to all invited
