M Andrea wrote:As a neutral observer to the game, Bosa & Villa, what a crap game to watch. Couldn't string 2 passes together on that crap pitch. Villa should have won that game. Bosa had two chances in the second half and scored one. You sit there criticising the ref, who mind you is one of the best ref's going around for a few mistakes that he did that were NONE game defining decisions.
The penalty was clear as i was behind the goals. The ref had made the initial mistake of pointing the wrong way, but it definetly was a penalty. Poor form from BOSA linesman to sit there and tell the ref otherwise.
Ref's make mistakes as do players so don't come on here and say that he had a shocker, just look at your own team first, who played crap. And why would u leave Abraham on the bench for a game like that. Tactic of Scardigno maybe?
And no the ref is not related or a friend of mine. Seen him ref many times and has been exceptional.
As a neutral observer, can I ask - how can you see clearly from behind the goals? No doubt your vision would have been obscured by the other players in the box. Maybe thats why people get so passionate when they get a penalty against their team - people on the sidelines actually to have a pretty good view.

Relatively close to the keeper who ought to have got more on it, but a good strike nevertheless.

Fair synopsis by Bodes, Andrea, Merhof and Co. Similar styles cancelling each other out. Bosa were marginally better than Villa but draw fair result. Terrible pitch doesn't help.

Still all relatively close in Sat Div 1 with Saints 3 points clear and good goal difference, but as I said before, not half way yet. 4-5 other teams, who with good runs, can still challenge for the title. If Bosa had beaten Modbury last week they'd be top now so still too close to call with everyone to play each other again.

no keeper would have got near that, was always rising till it insanely dipped at the last possible moment.

Having seen that, i can say that many keepers would've got to that.

A good shot, really was the only highlight of the game.

Well it sounds from you lads that it was just a down court backhand winner.

End of the day you got to take them however they go in. I cant really comment I was present and obviously you guys (Zeus, Cruehead and Club Referee) were all there.

You are correct PPG, at the end of the day, like i said, it was a good shot, only comment i made was that i didn't agree no keeper would've got to it.

Thought it was a tight game, and that shot proved to be the winner.
