Played in good spirit. Handyman turned back the clock with some excellent saves, Macedonia had the better of us early on in the first half but Bosna kept there nerve and were the better team on the day. Handy thanks for the Drink good luck to Macedonia for the rest of the year.
Fair assessment pal...your boys too good today....and yes game played in excellent spirits which was great to see 8)

TTG VS MODBURY

Tough game today between 2 sides contesting for promotion. TTG struck first with a long range strike followed by a modbury equaliser before the half time break. 2nd half saw TTG score again before Modbury got the late equaliser in the last minutes of the game. Overall the Gully looked the stronger side with the Gully Boys shattered with a draw, with Modbury celebrating it. I think Modbury got a "get out of jail card" in this game.

ttg v vista game would say draw was a fair result, wouldn't say vista used get out of jail card, both teams had chances to win it, both teams could have lost as both missed one on one with the keeper and vista missed a header with 15 to go, but no one landed the knockout blow, very open game, would have been good to watch if you were a neutral, great crowd there as well...

Come on mate, first post and ya come out with that? As is said in my post, it was fairly end to end attack with the draw being a fair result. Some good football played from both sides with lots of balls coming across into the box. A point away from home is not a bad result, considering against it was against someone in the top half of the table. Derbies are always close and this one was no exception. Well done to the simpson boys stealing the show by scoring 3 goals between them today!

a get out of jail free card, hardly, derek hit the cross bar and we missed a header from inside the box, gully had the second half but made no in roads towards goal. A good result for vista, fought back well and pushed all day, definitely happy to take a point away from home and i'm glad it hurts for the gully, apart from a hangover i feel pretty awesome today!!!!
You go on the p*ss all day, you've ballooned out like the Pillsbury Doughboy!
You could go to jail for this! What sort of system am I going to play then? Three across the middle and one in bloody Pentonville? *Mike Basset*

Well in Sandy on Debut, maybe Southern Knights should pick up $2500.00 for a half a season for signing the reigning Homeboy?

A's 2 - 2, Vista equalised with about 5 to go, very tight game with both teams havin chances. Agreed here, some good end to end football. Vista came from behind twice to level it up. Good game and good crowd as usual!

B's 5 - 1, Got thumped thats it! - True that, Vista looked alright in the first half but a quick goal after the break opened the gates!

C's vs Para Hills East, Vista 1 - 3 East

1st Post , 2nd Post, 100th Post, what difference does it make. In my books, getting a cheeky tap in goal in the last minute of the game is pretty lucky. Hence why Modbury celebrated the draw. As for the Away Ground Stigma, we have the supporters to make any game a Home game. I Look forward to the rematch with the addition of another Simpson boy.

was a good game to be apart of yesterday, but the boys were bitterly dissapointed not to get all 3 points. felt like a loss under the circumstances. some inconsistent reffing by everybody loves raymond look a like had both teams scratching there heads. thought florina were very one dimensional, just pumping long balls to trev and azza, but when you have players like that up there who can create things of clever knock downs why wouldnt ya. it seems to be very effective for them as there results are showing. long way to go in the season though and im sure there will be plenty of twists and turns. cheers to the florina boys for hanging around, they all ways hang round the longest of any club. (they even saw machuffa and peacy polish some jugs of) :D also hope the bloke who was knocked out in the ressies is o.k. maybe an update from mandrea?

Not sure you will be able to i have heard the contracts the o/35's are on are quite substantial perhaps he could make a special "one off" appearance for the first team or ressies. Good to see the simpson boys making their mark on the local Derby unfortunately i couldnt be there to watch the game but the return leg should be just as good. BTW Footy Lad no 3 points to the away team, good job you cleared that up before the game

Reserves were a little unlucky coping a goal in the last few minutes of a reasonably even match, although San Marco had lots of chances in the first 45 min.
The frist team played no were near as good as the week prior but were just good enough on the day to get the 3 points. San Marco played well and looked good in parts today.
Our goalie gifted you guys the first goal, the poor bloke, we just can seem to put 90 minutes together and i also thought you guys looked a bit down today which was probably lucky for us.
As for the B's it was a good hard game with the correct results at the end of the day :D

I hear there were a few fireworks from a few Gardens supporters to.

From what I was told, Hullsy should of been sent off but wasn't. Still Gardens scored the penalty and then conceeded basically from the kick off in the 94 min.
