Maybe they can play it on the Gardens pitch hasnt been used for 2 weeks we could even let them have the outside bar takings seeing as Mod Feds wont offer them anything but an overused pitch.

Fed pitch will hold up fine, it is doing very well under the heavy weather conditions lately and should be good for this saturday, unfortunate that the bar takings don't go to the jets but surely you got the pitch for free in exchange. will be there friday night to watch the Jets game and that will give me a good indication as to how bad the pitch is.

This was a great game & it didn't dissappoint the big crowd that turned out to watch, Gardens dominated posession for most of the 1st half but couldn't put any of the 20 or so shots in the back of the net . The Jets keeper got a real work out from 10 seconds into the game till right to the end & was easily there best on ground. The Jets had there moments & looked dangerous from set pieces with good balls in from jets. no.7, Gardens unlucky to conceed a own goal but that was brought about from Jets pressure in the goal area. It was fantastic to see Mohamads brother who just immigrated from Egypt score in his 1st game for the Gardens, he looks like a real raw talent similar to Mo when he 1st came to the club, can't wait to see both brothers play together.

Well done to Modbury Jets & good luck for the rest of the year.

I went to this game also but was a bit dissapointed with the size of the crowd, thought more might have come out for it. Agree Jets keeper was great, luckily because I thought the rest of the team didnt look much chop, Gardens dominated the game for the full 90 minutes, never looked like losing.

Ive been to heaps of federation games with alot less crowd, I thought crowd size was ok, although it was no where near a GARDENS v DOWNS size crowd...
but It was ok.

I guess I was only expecting more as this thread started with someone thinking it will be the biggest crowd we have ever had at our ground since we joined the sat league

Agree with Downs V Gardens pulling huge crowds, hoping the next cup draw will have either gardens/downs/vale drawn against each other....

I'm tipping that's not your normal size crowd & that you haven't had a bigger crowd than that for a while...

Does Mo's brother look like Mo? Does he play like Mo? Hang on just a Mo. Is it Mo with a new id?

July 5th Downs v Gardens at Argana Park. Big game big crowd. After the game will be a 4 piece blues band called Rollercoaster. Hope all the Gardens folk stick around for a few and boogie on into the night. Apparently the harp player is sensational. First drinks on me Nugget and Lefty.
