Sadly yes I made a howler. I thought I was behind it and it went straight through me.

Saints didnt really have a focal point today and truely missed Oliver today. Man we truely had concrete in the boots today and possibly needed this result to show us a good team can still lose against a lesser opposition. But in the end credit to Pontian as they finished the stronger side...

I look forward to seeing the response from SPOC next week....

By the way east boy - Oliver, Gale, Taylor, Rowley were missing today.
In your first five sentences you used the word 'today' five times. Stick to PE mate.

PS I simply cannot believe that Sunday Div 1 is played on that pitch?!! Crazy as the coach wants them to get the ball on the deck and play it around....

I didn't think it had changed. Apparentley they just whacked a load of sand down and it just hasn't grown over, possibly due to the whole drought scenario?

Have you guys got connected to the Recycled water yet East Boy. Our pitch has never been greener. Just got to get rid of the bumps and the 6 foot drop.

Not as far as i am aware? I know we are doing a lot of work to get the clubrooms started etc, I will find out tonight though. Did you have to apply through the council? or do they just do it?

They just did it. Its through the wetlands project that they have going on. Basically all the water on the pitches is now recycled water which they have loads of so we can have the pitch watered 4 times a week.

far out that sounds great! I will get on to that. See if we can find out if we are in line to get it. Knowing how things go up there it would b done around the start of cricket season. :) All good though it sounds like a great idea. Our pitch is certainly in need of some water.
