Chiellini better get through training and the match 100% or I'll be pissed off. Need him to keep tabs on Ibra this Saturday. In fact, I hope no Juventini play.

The more I think about it this game this is very much a waste of time. 2 3rd string sides playing each other

Hopefully its helps in our preparation for up coming qualificaiton matches and none of the boys (particularly the Oly reps) suffer injuries of any kind.

Having said all this I will tease the itali if we win.

knowing otto it will probably be our first team with a few second string players but still the usual yeri. i dont see him using the youngsters which is a shame because it is only a friendly and we should get some youngsters capped and more experience

expected starting 11

chalkias
dellas
spyropoulos
a.papadopoulos
torosidis
katsouranis
karagounis
basinas
tziolis
gekas
mantzios

I cant believe Del Piero didnt get selected, same with Cassano. I dont like Lippi's bias towards certain players, how can he pick Toni over Del Piero...as much as Del Piero doesnt really do much for the national team but which ones do!? None, Gila is crap for azzurri, so is Del Piero and Toni, Cassano hasnt really been tested and Pepe and Quaglia are new to the set up. The only striker who delivers for us at the moment is Di Natale.

Hopefully my Fiorentina boys do La Viola proud!

Del Piero isn't called up because he is 34 and Lippi knows exactly what he is capable of. The only time we'll ever see Del Piero back in blue again is during bigger games and provided he is in the same type of form he is in now.

Cassano not called up because of the 'Cassanata'.

this is a real mehhh game, why is it even on during a non-FIFA date??? What time is kickoff anyway?? I can't understand why such a pointless fixture is arranged but gotta watch it anyway. Cant get enough calcio

Yeh i guess, hopefully he gives Quagliarella a starting spot instead of Toni, as much as i like Toni, im sick of him not scoring.

Can't compare and question Toni over Del Piero with the two being different sort of strikers.

If you want streams you can download the greeklive application (http://www.greeklive.tv/Downloads.asp) and use the free 3 day trial for the game. Of course you eyetalians will have to put up with greek commentary if unmuted.

However, absolute perfection in quality, best stream ive ever seen - about 750kps

End of the day you would have expected both Gekas and Toni to score!!!!

Gekas (50) was on end of thru ball and comfortably slotted past keeper.

Toni (55) who hadnt scored for the azzuri ffor 12 months to the day

out foxed his defender peeling off for a header across the keeper for his goal.

Greece look to have unearthed a quality keeper.

pulled of some great saves on debut. 8+ from memory

Greece have always pulled out Good Keepers, but ones who aren't very consistant.... Lets hope they've made the right choice!!!

Didnt watch the game personally, would rather sleep and get up for work....
