There is a very good core to the Campbelltown U17's (played together for couple of years now) and as for the strength factor, they will be more than able. I don't disagree about the Coach though - no arguement there.

Darsem is an excellent player; although I preferred to play him in midfield, where his skills made him a stand out - despite his size. Excellent voice too.

Trevor Hall - Gun!! Enough said.

Sam Testa is a very good player also. Campbelltown's loss really is Metro's gain (and a big gain). The U17's Coach just didn't rate him for some reason.

He didn't get noticed because he is garbage, so I wouldn't say Metro have gained anything, in fact I would believe they have dropped a level with a person of his criteria in the squad

my thoughts on modbury 17s are the 19s will take the best players leaving them in the same postion they faced last year.

darcen and issac will be first to go followed by that red headed striker. i cant remember his name.

so my predictions is that para will be top again. even though i would like to see another team win for once.

I think first name of red head striker from Modbury U16s was Hayden.

Did a good job. Scored quite a few goals last year, although was out for a couple of games near end of season with injury (not sure but I think hockey ball to the eye).

yeooww s-train.
wait i mean sam testa.
i thinlk ur dad or someone is on ur logon they are saying good stuff about you.
umm metro sound strong. para hills also. but modbury have a killer defence. hard 110% effort backline.

wouldnt write off any team this year id have to say.
abe? with the way their 15s performed last year i would have to say that thats all they deserve.
great club. high expectations and didnt quite meet those expectations. but that should change.
abe to win div b.
Modbury to win div a.
div c. who cares? sorry lol

i say Campbelltown 2 take out the A's, most of the boys played together for 3 years now and some strong new additions to what is most of last years 15A team

from what I have heard I would be putting my money on Birkalla or Campbelltown, with Modbury and Parahills fighting for 3rd & 4th spots.
Campbelltown are a great side, well skilled lads with good football sense, pity the coach is an ignorant loudmouth.
Birkalla have always been a great side and with a few new players from Adelaide city they will be a force this year.
Modbury arent bad, picked up a couple of good parahills boys and when they get settled should play well.
Para Hills coach again struggled to select a final side ( as he did with us last year ) therefore lost some quality players to other clubs, hopefully kept enough to actually field a squad this year as last year we were always short of players. Always good younger sides at Para though to select from so they should be able to compete, but definately not take the league.

footnote... watch our 19's this year ( parahills ) some good youngsters out there.

i agree with sir alex

but what i know about campbelltown is that there all too young and weak i dnt think they will make it and for there coach lets not go there they, havnt really piked up any players with much quality
para hills, metro, modbury wil be the top teams theres no deniing that they have all been there before and with the players they have its just pure quality.

by the way s-train i know your not sam testa
s train is scott trestrail used to play but not anymore hahahah i uncovered your secret scott.

Screw all these big teams, i wanna see some underdog teams like comets, cobras, raiders, west adelaide and blue eagles ranking high this season. These are good teams, with quality players and i reckon in 2009 these teams will really show. Apparently west adelaide picked up afew talented players, and apparently that's the same situation for cobras. It will be interesting to see what happens.

its funny that digger trigger only joined on the 5th of january aye ahaha and its also funny how the apparent "real" sam testa(beckham01) joined on the 7th LOL sam testa your a bloody dreamer, stop talking urself up, cause buddy YOUR NOT! ok, if you wanna get praise, play good on the pitch, instead of making up fake names and talking urself up on the internet. It's too late to start saying it's not you and shit, mate everyone knows it's you okay. So take my word and just dont say anymore shit and maybe just maybe people might forget about the time sam testa made a complete fool out of himself.
well thats enough from me,
ciao

p.s expect some bone crushing tackles this season, well i mean thats if ur not on the bench ahah :P

Maybe all these Sam Testas are Mylie Syrus or Hanna Montannah

Anyway this Sam Testa topic is getting boring.

Based on some of the new recruits Metro has picked up I dont think they will be up there with Para Hills, Adl City, Modbury.

Modbury 17s last two years not so good (struggled to put full team on pitch most of last year due to a Coach bailing out and taking three players during the Christams break) but will be strong this year.

hard to say who the best team will be until a few games have been played. but obviously you would have to look at the teams that did well in the u15s and u16s last year to do well again this year.. provided they haven't lost any key players
