liverpool never looked like scoring in the first half, even though you had to efforts cleared off the line and one header from torres missing by a few centimetres while VDS was off having a cup of tea

did you even watch the game diegom?

the gerrard tackle was class

Bout the only thing he did! Talk about a player who never shows in big games and dives and cheats.
Look in your own back yard Livershite.

Cant remember last time Gerrard 'played' against ManUtd.

yeah gerrard went missing, but he was a lot more effective and involved than ronaldo was

gotta laugh at ronaldo, honestly, he was like kewell this morning, played brilliantly the last few weeks then completely absent (well, again at least kewell was involved, but he was diabolical whenever he got the ball)

It's quite simple really. There is only one professional team in manchester. name me another one and I'll gladly admit I'm wrong and apologise.

Yes, they're both proffessional teams but only one of them is based in manchester. A clue for you, it's not united.

Your obviously talking about whos closer to the cbd, if so, then yes city are, but you can hardly say united are not in the manchester area.

I never said they weren't in the manchester area. It was more a dig at the fans over here who refer to them as "manchester" without the united. totally disregarding the other Manchester.

It's a bit like singing:

"1-0 to the Glasgow"

I have always been Man Utd fan, and if I refer to them (on the very odd occasion) as Manchester, I will only ever mean Utd. Mainly because City are crap and I hate them to the point of not even recognizing your point above and that (at least to me) is undisputed. 8)

I agree 100% with that post. Gerrard is a passionate player and normally produces the goods in the big games, as shown in the goals above.

fuck, my bad.

for a second there i thought scoring in the last minute of the FA Cup Final and scoring the winner to progress through the group stage of the CL was doing well in a BIG game.
