Players more than likely would have been able to shuffle between those four sides.
I guess switching from saturday to sunday is the same thing because players are registered with a club, not with a team. Those who played for Munno Para were registered with Munno Para, not team A, B or C.

Whether that's morally right or wrong is another story, but I think it can be done.
Bodø you have hit the nail on the head! You are signed to a club not A's, B's, C's etc. I play at Munno & we have the option to play on whatever day we wish. If I get a red card that stops me playing in either day the following week.

Yes. The ref don't know if you played the day before. I don't know if it is against league rules but there is no way they could police it if it was.

In that situation players are able to play in all 4 sides. In fact I know of one player who played in all 4 teams at some point in the season for various reasons.

They did however alwasy run those sides as A, B's C's & D's so you got promoted/dropped as required.

The issue with Munno Parra / Villa though would be. You have a young gun player who is happy and able to play both days and he could do so. I would say technically you can.

If you received a red card on the saturday, you would miss the next day as well as the following week as the ref would keep your card and the league would not have returned it until 3 matches (Sunday, Saturday & Sunday) had been played.

You make a good point. I forgot here the referee takes your card when you are red carded and submits it to the league.
