but some clubs and supporters are to blame for this...who wants to hang around after a game and give money to a club that their supporters have carried on an abused players thoughout a game...this happened to us on an away game an when we decided to leave after the match we got abused some more...and then the expected us to come back an have a drink like nothing has happened...yeah right

Is that right?? Gee I would have thought "most supporters" do the right thing and support the club they visit.chemical brother wrote:Most if not all club supporters bring their own esky which is fair enough its a fact of life get over it

never seen an away club sell beers though
Thats disappointing news - which club did this?
No shite here mate, you cant help if SOME supporters are tight asses, the clubs arnt the ones bringing the eskies its two or three people who do, and they even do it at home games!sweet mate productions wrote:don't want to start shite, but i sure this will, want to thank Maso's for a good hard and realitively calm game however to bringing of a couple of eskies, full of whatever was disappointing, hope they dulled the pain though of the 3-1 loss because the scotch and coke from our bar tasted absolutely fantastic after the game, cheers to all concerned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The large esky was full of water for the players any other esky that was at the ground was not inspected by us, noticed a couple of eskies with the vista supporters did you check them, but not starting any shite sweet boyLION wrote:No shite here mate, you cant help if SOME supporters are tight asses, the clubs arnt the ones bringing the eskies its two or three people who do, and they even do it at home games!sweet mate productions wrote:don't want to start shite, but i sure this will, want to thank Maso's for a good hard and realitively calm game however to bringing of a couple of eskies, full of whatever was disappointing, hope they dulled the pain though of the 3-1 loss because the scotch and coke from our bar tasted absolutely fantastic after the game, cheers to all concerned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No BBQ for us after game so disapointed many stayed to drink. CROWNIES $4 good BUT $4 for DRAUGHT, but not starting any shite sweet boy

must say the bbq did start but rather late, need to sort this out its hard getting someone to get it fired up.and yes paying any type of cash for draught is rough if you ask me.but overall over a $1000 taken over the bar was a good day even if eskies were there, maso pres wrote:The large esky was full of water for the players any other esky that was at the ground was not inspected by us, noticed a couple of eskies with the vista supporters did you check them, but not starting any shite sweet boyLION wrote:No shite here mate, you cant help if SOME supporters are tight asses, the clubs arnt the ones bringing the eskies its two or three people who do, and they even do it at home games!sweet mate productions wrote:don't want to start shite, but i sure this will, want to thank Maso's for a good hard and realitively calm game however to bringing of a couple of eskies, full of whatever was disappointing, hope they dulled the pain though of the 3-1 loss because the scotch and coke from our bar tasted absolutely fantastic after the game, cheers to all concerned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()

and may i warn other teams to keep there bags with there crowds or we can lock them in the changing rooms for them.hopefully we can find out who is stealing from the club.

Bringing your own beer is disrespectful to the home club. Worse if you sell it toi own supporters. I have seen it happen many times in the last 23 years of playing amateurs but I will NOT name the clubs on this forum. If punters are bringing their own stuff, at least put the empties in the bin!
That said, there are other factors. Some clubs sell beer taht punters do noit like and/or at ridiculous prices. Bottom line...there is no black/white answer. Home clubs should offer reasonable prices.
