GULLY BOYZ wrote:Everyone is entitled to their opinion on the coaching job ! Fine ! whether its the right choice or the wrong choice,we will see,but the committee had its reasons !! and those reasons do not have to be discussed on here!!
Thats ok, we will discuss them for you We have to talk about something in the off season.
Was it a clash with comittee or players? At least give us that.
On a serious note Gully Boyz, is the club worried the coach might slip some of the good young Gully Boyz into Modbury's 23's. Or will he be able to attract some of the Modbury guys that aren't making first team to the Gullies? It sounds like a bit of a conflict of interest.

Could be a good thing for both clubs if it's done properly(players getting pushed on to feds if good enough and players no longer good enough for feds going to amateurs) but when it comes to Modbury they are often good at the talk but thats about it.
Will be very interesting to see the developments on this one.

Gabon, do you guys have much of a tie up with the Fed club anymore?
Will be very interesting to see the developments on this one.[/quote]

No, thankfully not at all , in saying that though we got our first player last year referred to us from them as in the past they hae told them to go anywhere but us.

So the players blamed the coach and the committee blamed the coach???

Yeh it sounds like a great plan to me T.T.G give there good players to Modbury & they give them there cast aways, good plan can I get a copy? The players were the reason Brad didnt get re-appointed ? Isn't that the reason they got rid of Ian last year ? What a JOKE who's running the club the players? The facts are kick 1 more goal & your in the 1ST Division then what ????? Sack the coach that got you there ????? Like I said the ST. KILDA of the amateur league
This is just a quick note to all those who might be doubtful of the abilities and committment of the new coach at TTG. Having spoken to him at length about his application to and the appointment of his position at TTG I can confirm a few things. Firstly, at no point did he say he was going to leave Modbury if appointed to TTG nor has Modbury asked him to resign from TTG if results do not go Modburys way. I can confirm also his passion for the game and committment he will give TTG. There will no no such movements of players from Modbury to TTG or vice versa unless of course any player moved voluntarily. Players and committee members from TTG should not have any fears that he will be committed to taking TTG to the First Division for the 2009 season. This information is not second hand and straight from the horses mouth. All the best TTG for the 2008 season in advance, I'm sure it will be a exciting and prosperous one.

Your 1st post enthusiast haven't you got the balls to put your real post name to it or are you a genuine 1st timer?... I think not... but coming to expect it from you blokes! No one including me is questioning the abilities or committment of your new coach what I am questioning is why do you treat you appointed coaches so poorly? Dont you believe in longivity, respect & a fair go? Any way good luck to your new coach, if he dosnt need the luck during the season he will certainly need it at the end of the season just ask your last few coaches :?
well that is totally in the hands of the TTG committee and shouldn't be commented on by anyone else. He fully knows his position after a meeting with them on Friday evening and I am sure the committee will make the right decision in the best interest for their club.
Genuine first time post to answer your question. I am not involved with or have been involved with TTG at any point in my life. I just know the incoming coach and informing people of the facts, so enthusiast if my first and only post name.

I have also played for various amateur league clubs both saturday and sunday and playing over 35s now after a break from playing football due to injury and help my son develop his football in the elizabeth and districts juniors. so some 20yrs plus involved with the sport. I'm not just some observer who has no idea.
I can see that I am pushing shit up hill here. A mans reputation is on the line here and all you are concerned with is that the person making a post to set the record straight, is involved with the club. Apart from being rude and arrogant you also need to get your facts straight. Again I am in no way involved with the club but what is of major concern that the outgoing coach can be so bitter as to post lies about the new coach and everyone follows along like little sheep barring a few.

apparently coaching modbury reserves as well told gully he would resign from modbury if got job, then told modbury he will be doin both
also been told if gully gets in way of modbury then must relinquish 2nd(amateur) job
also told modbury doin gully job cause he needs the money
good to know people in the right places
to the players of tea tree gully, thanx for a great season, to go down to the vale after leading with 15 to go is no disgrace and to miss promotion by one goal (especially when saasl gave the beach the game against croats)no dan nuthin against u guys) gully boys have been a pleasure
to the commitee,
True to your name nugget anyone could see that this is the out going coach writing this and anyone with half an IQ would realise this. As initially posted I was clearing up a few discrepancies with an original post of his.

enthustiast your are definatly fool of the week you couldnt be tool of the week cause you got no balls! What do you think fool Brads going to be happy? he has every right not to be! & for T.T.G.S.C to appoint a coach who is allready coaching a federation club is a JOKE especially when they had a guy who through cucumstances just miss out on promotion to the 1st Div. & lost the cup in the last 15 mins. FACTS are they treated Brad badly but they have a history of doing this to coaches & thats all Im on about! As for clearing up a few discrepancies with an original post of his? Who made you forum POLICE fool & what is to you 1st timer???
Enthusiast, Your wasting your time with this nugget ! He asked questions, he gets genuine answers, but still carries on like a knob ! Nugget you are are a tool, as I said .....get over it !!!
