oh and by the way, my first post that aggrevated you all meant " if it was in another suburb e.g Norwood, this thing wouldn't of happened, but Elizabeth is known for these kinds of things".

Probably not the clubs fault this happened but just some stupid skinheads who had nothing better to do then gatecrash a party, feel sorry for the club and the neighbours that witnesses this or were hurt.

anfield road, Dicanio there is alot of speculation on this forum whether this was from outside or with-in the club or possibily a bit of both? Now that the dust has settled do you have any more to add to what has allready been written? How are the secretary & club president are they out of hospital?

I heard justin actually stopped breathing in the ambo (only what I have heard) but is alright now and they will be out of hospital soon if they have not already got out..

The guys are out of hospital and are both fine, it was the b's keeper that brang some friends and he has been barred for life from the grove, the club are not protecting him in any way, there have also been a few arrests and i hear 1 has been charged and released on bail, i hope all recover soon.

No one has instructed us what to write and no one is trying to cover up anything and we certainly aren't protecting any guilty parties. Just want to move on from it and stop going on about it. It's done now and our main concern is to put this behind us and see our mates return to full health.

For those who feel they have to know what happened for what ever reason this is the general gist. The trouble makers were a players mates but he was not involved in starting the trouble. When it first kicked off inside the club rooms he actually kicked them out. Though there are reports of him causing trouble later on outside but I didn't see this so I can't comment. Whether he did or not these undesirables were there because of him so everyone agrees he has to shoulder the blame.

This definitely was not in fighting. No other Grove members turned on each other. If anything this will only make camaraderie stronger at the Grove.

In saying this I believe Anfield rd's post regarding this incident is a true description of what occured on the night.

The real story was on page 8. $517m scheme to privatise prisons.
The SA Govt. is looking for expressions of interest.
In America private prisons are factories where the workers don't get to go home.
This will add a hole new meaning to workplace agreements.
Some forumites should be feeling a little worried maybe this prison might have their own SAASL team with plenty of life members
