He could of been born in england and moved here some later time, or he could actually be posting from england. And he is allowed to support who he likes.

Anyway, i would make some changes even though it was a winning team, because of a number of reasons.

1) We gave some of those thai players too much space (and they came close TOO many times). Especially one of the wingers.

2) Japan is a stronger team with a possibly different formation. Its not a case of one size fits all.

Wilkshire out neil in, even though i hate neils attitudes. I would really like to see carle get some game time, but starting him would be a mistake due to fitness (as goes for kewell and cahill).

You need to lift your game against Japan.
Neutral? Where you posting from England?
Well I'm not an aussie and I'm not Thai. I think that qualifies me as neutral. :?
so just here because mum and dad brought you over well when your old enough you can go home but for the moment you could support the country that you live in and go to school in!
:?

I wish I was young enough to still be at school but alas NO. Even university I finished 10 years ago.

My parents are still in England and not over here.

I'm getting pumped up for tomorrows game.

I have high expectations for the game and I'm looking for an Aussie win ( fingers cross).

Ill be interested in the foul count. The team has discipline problems and with kosmina on the side lines giving orders it doesn't help.

They should concentrate on playing the game than giving away stupid yellows and fouls. Yea at some times the ref is at fault but 95 percent of the time its the players fault.

We also cant be chasing. In previous games, teams that chase, most of the time lose. we need to score the first goal to set up the match for a win. Scoring the first goal also lifts the players and gives them more confidence.

According to the live match centre...

The red card for Grella was for a "Deliberate Handball" - not even they know what it was for!

Very disappointed.

Australia put up a great fight with only ten men and in those hot conditions.

The red card was very harsh. should of been a foul at the very least.

David Carney played well again and i was glad to see Carle come on for his first shot at the Asian cup.

The ref needs to get the sack. what a joke. he payed to yellows for "diving". Unbelievable plus a harsh red card.

All up disappointing tournament by Australia and a gutsy effort in the last match.

i would not say it is discipline problems . alot of these asians are not at the strength of our guys who are use to playing players at the same strength and when they look for the dive makes it worse .

bad luck tonight . milligan was unlucky but thats football .

that red was terrible grella was first to the ball the other player come after him to challenge .

also david carneys yellow that was crap to . we just can not get a break in this tournament

Australia seem to create bad luck.

Its like we are under some curse or something like that ever since we lost to Italy in the world cup.

To a degree. But I plame FFA quite strongly for leaving Arnold in charge.

The Asian Cup is the only realistic chance we have to win a comp and they left him there when they should have got someone else.

Not only did we lose, but now we will not be seeded for world cup qualifying next year.

I don't beleive in seeding. All the teams of a particular area should be thrown in a bowl and drawm randomly

That's what lost us the Asian cup. Going in as favourites.

When any team goes in a favourite people have high expectations for them.

But the reality is being a favourite is a load of bull.

The better team on the day will win regardless of the rankings

Yeah fair enough. But I'd rather not have to play Japan, Iran, Korea etc to qualify for the WC.
