Lymbe to leave AEK for Nuremberg Kop, thats the rumour as im sure u are aware, whats your opinion on that? The Kop wrote:Lymberopoulos, theres your token Kalamatiano.
Papastathopoulos is a born and bred Kalo too.
As for Rodites....we're all too busy enjoying the best beaches in the world to play mpala....
I dont claim to know more than you are you claiming to know more than king Otto? The Kop wrote:A. Papadopoulos is a defender for Aris (actually born in Sydney), not in the squad.
D. Papadopoulos is the striker for PAO that is in the squad..........
Once again....
Goumas - Papastathopoulos
Anatolakis - A Papadopoulos
Fyssas - Lagos
Vyntra - not a has been but kreas. His club mate Leonitou who has been keeping him out of his position at PAO all season.
Dellas - No one as yet.
Basinas - Illiadis.
Watch more Greek league.......you'll agree with me.
I hate these 'experts' who watch 1 derby a season and know it all.
Tell me which station you watch the Greek league on, Antenna? or an exclusive station that is only watched by "experts"?
I understand Lagos is a good footballer and would love to see young Ninis in the squad but apart from that no room for the rest. Qualification is far too important to test the waters with your favourites.
Our coach might not watch as much of the Greek league as you but would have observers who would fill him in on the type of player he wants and what players can bring to his squad.
I will say it again, cant wait to see Otto leave so we he cant be blamed for our mediocracy that part and parcel of Greek football. Hopefully we get rid of him soon.

I watch SuperSport1, SS2 & NET covers all games.
Didnt miss an AEK game all season, watched all 41 games. Occasionally Athlitiki Kyriakh and Super Savvato.
About Otto, his ideas are senile and outdatted.
Its well documented in player biographies, journals from the tournament and reporter insights that the experienced players carried the team. Otto had major problems communicating as his assistant/translator Toplaidis has very little football experience.
Zagorakis, Basinas, Dellas, Tsiartas, Nikolaidis, Dabizas, Nikopolidis pretty much took control of the team.
Torosidis was a quality player at Xanthi, but overlooked. He moved to Olympiakos and 2 months later he's an important player in the national team. Spyropoulos the same, killing it at Panionios. Seals a move to Olympiakos and gets called up.
Imagine if he was pro-active rather than re-active........

Cant wait till Otto goes and more importantly we bring in a Greek to coach us. Watch tin omatha mas fly then. This outdated approach from Otto must be killing our national football team. Why do we put up with this rubbish? The Kop wrote:I watch SuperSport1, SS2 & NET covers all games.

there is no Greek good enough to coach this team, so what u are saying there is nonsense, if Otto goes it needs to be a well known and respected coach that comes in, u tell me one Greek coach thats good enough to make things happen with this team?Motley wrote:Cant wait till Otto goes and more importantly we bring in a Greek to coach us. And if you dont believe me about them carrying the team, perhaps you should read Tsartas' biography and Dellas Euro journal.

Tsartas' bio my mate brought it back from Greece for me.
But he did do a tell all interview with NET around the time it was released, ive seen it. Will try and find the link.
Dellas' journals, i read selected excerts online, but i did see a printed version i Caras on Lonsdale. Ill try and dig up the online version.
Dabizas did his journals in conjunction with contra.gr i remember reading them during the tournament. It may be in their site archives.

From Tsiartas' interview re Rehhagel. Translated in English.
PS He really hates Nikolaidi.
More from Tsiartas about Rehhagel
Edit, ive given up for today. Will look another time.
Still looking for the vid.The goal against the Czech Republic
I must say that with the Czech goal a myth has developed. Rehagel wanted the players to run from the back on set pieces to come and meet the ball. Myself however, knowing that we had players who are good at the air game, I would always say to Harry, Dellas, Vryzas, Katsourani, and Dabiza go to the near post and stay there.
In the semi final, before the goal, there was a foul, that dellas hit with his body and withouht much power. Thats when I told him, Go to the penalty spot and I'll find you. I spoke to him again afterwards when he scored and he knew on his own where to be at the near post. After he scored Dellas yelled at me 'Your a magician'. If you see the play, characteristically how he heads the ball, you will see that he simply puts his head forward and the ball goes in.
In that game, before the decision was made for me to be subbed in, Rehagel was arguing for 10 minutes with Topalidis. Rehagel wanted to sub in Nikoalidi but Topalidis insisted that i be subbed in instead. For ten minutes they argued over this and for another ten they werent speaking to each other afterwards, until he subbed me in.
PS He really hates Nikolaidi.
More from Tsiartas about Rehhagel
Edit, ive given up for today. Will look another time.
