The rise of NAB

geeeez you guys just cant take the fact that of nab, a once very poor club is now climbing in the ranks and is improving at the speed of light. and its even better they don't even have high funding but the standard in strips is way above most of the super league teams they wear nike so you guys can all go back to your adelaide city's and ABE's and get treated like your crap by the president
It doesn't matter if the juniors are in C division or the seniors are in the State League, as long as you look good wearing "Nike".chelseafc wrote:geeeez you guys just cant take the fact that of nab, a once very poor club is now climbing in the ranks and is improving at the speed of light. and its even better they don't even have high funding but the standard in strips is way above most of the super league teams they wear nike so you guys can all go back to your adelaide city's and ABE's and get treated like your crap by the president

good on ya NAB
i think a few clubs are starting to get a little comfortable and lazy in their positions in the big leagues.
NAB have a goal - make the top grade. this will drive them a long way and IMO eventually i think they will. theyre having a great season (and im talking about the club in general here, not just u/17s)
instead of junior players leaving NAB to join super league clubs, its becoming just as common for super league players to join NAB (where they are given a fighting chance of making the senior squad) and these are the players that will push NAB up the ranks. (i know of one player personally)
best of luck to them!

To all of you on this post.
Keep in mind we all have to start from somewhere. If NAB is top on the "C" table that means they should be in the "B"s" as they have worked hard for this!!!!
For those teams that are in the "B''s' currently I am sure you are also working very hard to gain a position in the "A's". And that is how things work.
Do you follow international soccer? Napoli moved from "B's" to "A's" as well as Juventus.
THATS THE NAME OF THE GAME whether it is NAB, ABE, JUVENTUS OR NAPOLI.
GOOD LUCK NAB

nobody ever said they will be the best in the super league..? just that they are on the rise like u said..the 17s and 19s picked up some good players. Seniors still with a chance for promotion with several games in hand and chasing a cup semi final berth.eggplantpopodopalosthe3rd wrote:yeh their 17's and 19's hav picked up some good players this year and r doing really, but what matters is how their first team goes. U guys r talking like they will be in the best superleague in no time, in my opinion maybe another 3 years if lucky

Understandable point Glebe and again i will say well done for recruiting these players but if you guys think winning the 17c league, reserves and 19's state league is such a big thing just get ova yourself, when you's win promotion at least then start bragging ![Rolling Eyes ](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)

Nobody is bragging, we are stating that NAB are on the rise, if that's bragging then you don't understand the meaning.eggplantpopodopalosthe3rd wrote:Understandable point Glebe and again i will say well done for recruiting these players but if you guys think winning the 17c league, reserves and 19's state league is such a big thing just get ova yourself, when you's win promotion at least then start bragging

This may be true, i don't have any ties with NAB, but its good to see that this club is on the rise.eggplantpopodopalosthe3rd wrote:Penalty 5 im just saying that you guys are writing a topic that deep down not even you care about, from what ive read u seem to be more of an Adelaide city sort of guy.
