alot of the players I have seen tend to avoid the physical side of the game and even cringe out of the way of a hard ball or body contact.

whatever happened to good old "attacking football" why is it going to a pass back, keep possession avoid agression style?

Having seen a couple of junior players sustain nasty injuries your definition is correct, win position, get possession.

The great Brain Clough :cry: once said, "keep the ball, if we have the ball GUESS WHAT ? They don't and THEY cannot score can they?" , simple soccer from the great (bung) man :wink:

Suggest you read his biography, Walking on Water i think it was called, full or short version.
