His actual quote
"It's going to be tough, but with our latest signings I'm confident enough to say that we will pose a genuine assault for not only the Premier League, but for the cups as well."

Re: Liverpool 2011/12
Liverpool have spent the most of any EPL club in 2011, so you'd with the 100 + mill spent they should be able to get into the top four.
One thing on there side is that players don't leave Liverpool too often, the English players especially.

Re: Liverpool 2011/12
I agree, I know a lot of LFC fans who want to go all the grounds, a season in the championship will help them achieve their goal.
Also we are forever in UTD's shadow and are obsessed by them, so much so we want to do what they did in 1974.

I agree Der_Tser, Carragher's reecord for LFC shows how bad he is.

I would think Roy, Gerard, Sven, Fabio, Kenny and Rafa can pick a better player than you.
You probabaly can't even pick your nose properly.

When did Roy Evans play for Man Utd?what does a 3rd rate United CB have to do with this? :?
You really shouldn't play in this thread, because you will be embarrassed more than you can imagine. As I know my LFC history I will pull you up time and time again.
And BTW you will never fluster me.

I assume it's better to seem confused to a troll rather than be a confused troll.
This is a Liverpool thread and you were writing shit about Jamie Carragher, c'mon keep up or has your medicine not kicked in and you don't know what you are talking about.

Liverpool flop Jovanovic offered chance to strike it rich in the Middle East
Liverpool forward Milan Jovanovic has been handed the chance to maintain his current £60,000-a-week earnings after receiving an offer from Al-Shabab Riyadh.
The wealthy Saudi Arabian club, who are coached by ex-Belgium keeper and Standard Liege manager Michel Preud'homme, want the flop who has struggled since his free transfer to Anfield a year ago.
Anderlecht thought they had a clear run on Jovanovic's signature, after his preferred choice Lille failed to follow up their interest, but now the Belgian club face an anxious wait while he decides his future.

Liverpool's Steven Gerrard could miss the first two months of the season due to second groin injury - report
Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard is set to miss the first two months of the new Premier League season, according to reports.
The 31-year-old has been struggling for fitness for some time now, and Mirror reports that a second groin injury has caused a delay in the midfielder's recovery.
This latest setback would mean that the Anfield skipper is likely to miss England's international friendly against the Netherlands in August, and could also be absent for the Euro 2012 qualifier against Wales in September.
At club level, however, Liverpool are not short of midfielders due to the signings of Charlie Adam from Blackpool and Jordan Henderson from Sunderland, while Alberto Aquilani has returned from his loan spell with Juventus
