dunno where you get your info from Jay but no newbies at this stage other than the coach. Unfortunately our coach Tom Mangan has some serious health issues which forced him to pull the pin after the first round. We at the club wish him all the best for a speedy recovery as he is a wonderfull bloke and gives his all for whichever club he is involved with. Having said that yes we have appointed a new coach and hope to have a successfull season :D

   was that your subtle way of pointing out the new coach??? ive know and played for him for many a year and he takes some getting used to but he is a good coach and those who can live with his personality will learn a lot and become better for the experience....i am confidenat that our team will do well with him in charge of the first XI. 8)

All the best to Tom - a top bloke with a great passion and knowledge of football and not to mention a pretty decent player in his time too. Indeed had it not been for Tom I don't think we would have had the glowing presence of OldRedback in the South Australian Footballing community!

Seriously all the best to Tom for a speedy recovery.

I have spies everywhere

Give it a couple of weeks and 2-3 quality players will arrive I'm told.

All the best to Tom in his recovery.

Avin a laugh...

going on 2009

westervelt 22 goals
brooks 9 goals
elliot 8 goals
Glad to see u can add,

Westers and brooksy in a team wouldnt work......
Going on 2010 after 8 rounds
Brooks 12
Westervelt 6
Elliott 3 (cmon Trev lift your game)

Not travelling too badly so I think robinfriday10 wont be far off come end of season. Thankfully none of the goals were scored against us & hope thats the same next time round.

After seeing your cracking left foot I thought Mr Capello may have given you a call lefty to help with that troublesome left hand side issue he has!

Catch you for a beer at the next game mate I had to shoot off but did come and look for you.

Everyone keeps talking about my goal 8) might even try TTG they're looking for strikers wouldnt mind some of the jellybeans LRO has on offer.

Yes you & your friend Marooned left straight away mustnt have looked too hard for me if we lose (not that we will) dont expect me to come in after the game.....and thanks for letting my goal in I reckon you were close to it

Marooned had a bad hangover and I had a family committment but we'll catch up next time. I can't promise to be as generous on the field next time though! The first team looks quality though mate and hard to beat will be an exciting title run in.

Nugget, stop being dramatic. Parafield Gardens have signed Fred Agius. Let's hope he doesn't get injured playing footy.

If any new signing played (on pro contracts) on the week that just passed for FFSA club, or any club for that matter, they'd need to sit out 30 days from that date, so really would only be available for the last 4/5 games.
