For anyone embittered by past experiences, disappointments and failures, who loves watching for the FFSA to fail, the appointment of Harnwell is obviously a big negative.Black_Panther wrote:Didn't Harnwell win the WLeague with Perth last year??
How isn't that a positive???

You are way off the mark. No-one on this forum loves watching the FFSA fail.
We would like to see the women's league in SA be successful, whether its the local clubs, state teams or the W League.
In the past, the FFSA employed a head coach of women's football who did absolutely nothing for the women's league other than to improve his own portfolio. He was always going to go back to the men's. That's why there was not any formal send off from the people who employed him.
However, the FFSA women's admin should also be held accountable for the lack of direction. This has gone on far too long.
The FFSA needs to review the women's dept. and make recommendations to employ experienced personnel to take women's football to the next level.
If this is not done, then women football in SA will remain status quo.
