Milne....................oh well, will keep Melbourne out of the spotlight for a couple days.........

I guess innocent until proven guilty, but doubt the media will play it that way.

There's only ONE bye per club.

There's only ONE bye per club.
And six clubs have them on the same weekend according to the afl website.

Still just one bye per club.

You can't give a club a bye without another club getting one (due to even number).

And if you had a split round, you'd have 4 games one weekend & 5 on another. Making it, 6-6-6 games ensures more game per weekend.

So why not have nine games on the weekend and have more teams play each other twice (which they all really should do)

Because the AFLPA insists the players get a mid season break.

Cant the coach rest players if they are deemed not 100% fit? I know this is done virtually now when teams are up against the likes of GWS, Melbourne and Port.

The AFL together with the Melbourne and Western Bulldogs Football Clubs are pleased to announce a women's curtain-raiser game will be played on Saturday June 29 at the MCG.

The match will be a feature of Women's Round (Round 14) and will be played prior to the Melbourne v Western Bulldogs match.
Next round bubu.

Very proud of the boys!

That loss against the Bulldogs means we dont jump collingwood, but we have a chance to do that next week. It's a loss that I think has given them a kick up the backside to not take anyone lightly
