South Australia could do with a fresh faced A-League franchise...one without an already established historical dislikes.
There is a whole new generation of young footballers and football followers (and some not so young) that can be harnessed to grow the game in South Australia.
Whilst Adelaide United had some links with the former Adelaide City NSL, they have by many been viewed as a new Club and have attracted new support from around the state...

Re: WA signing fowler
Interesting article in the Sunday Mail....where AU chairman states AU were denied juniors which is (in their opinion) the major cash flow for a club. Also other stuff about logos etc and paying FFSA $19k to be affiliated....would this mean that the West Adelaide bid for HAL means the loss of WA juniors to align with what has been imposed on AU????? Just wondering for my understanding and clarification. Cheers geoff9559

AU should never have been allowed in the FFSA leagues ,
The FFSA clubs in this new format Hal should be the feeder clubs to AU or any other new Adelaide Hal club in the future. And for these Adelaide Hal clubs to pay good money for these players and if these players say go overseas or say into the Socceroos more funds should go to the original FFSA clubs they came from.
What AU want now for their FFSA NPL club is just hot air ridiculous.

Furthermore
That statement is so ridiculously funny.
Does that totally ratify what I have been saying for years eg juniors funding seniors?
Is that why The Adelaide Raiders moved onto Park B27 after the demise of Wah original?

I heard Salisbury Florina SC has asked for donations to complete their in side fit out of their new clubrooms?
Is WAH2 going to do the same .
As that big Wah original donations board which ended up hanging in the Olympic clubrooms in Ferryden Pk?
