Funny, when it was 2-8 I thought the same scores you wouldn't read about it.....Then they went and spoiled it.

Monsieur Prost, I believe you're confusing the term promotion for the term relegation.

ITS ALL MY FAULT, I PLAYED IN THE 10-0 DRUBBING AT IGGIES (DIV 2 RES V DIV 3RES) AND THE 9-2 THUMPING AGAINST NAVARINO. :( NO EXCUSE BUT VIPERS DID PLAY 5-6 REGULAR DIV 6 GUYS, JUST GLAD IT WAS THE RESERVES AND NOT OUR A's.

Hawkesy was referring to the weekend where his team defeated ACU Falcons. And for the record, last year's Cup game was 11-0

I'd actually forgotten about that one. So, I have played against them. I scored 2 and went in goal for the last 10 to give our keeper a run on pitch.

Why is it you post before the quote and not after it like other people?

Some big games next week that will shape the table for the last 5 games.

Flinders v Salisbury Villa - a loss for Flinders would put them in real trouble, I think they'll be up for this. A win for Villa keeps them in touch with Vipers / Budapest. Villa to snatch a late win.

Navarino v Southern Breakers - Navarino can't afford to lose this. After watching Breakers today, not sure how they've got their recent results. Were they missing players? Navarino to win easily.

Comets v Monarchs - Monarchs fairytale run came to an end today. They need to win to get clear of Navarino. Comets need to win to maintain touch with the top half. Draw.

OISC v Budapest - Budapest almost went down to bottom placed Flinders, but are still top by two points. OISC have won 3 out of 4 and only lost 1 in 6. Was a very hard fought battle last time. OISC to sneak home with players coming back in.

Vipers v FC Adelaide - Vipers defeated the previously red hot Monarchs, whilst FC Adelaide have won two in a row and shown form. Draw.

Ran into a Villa mate last night...he said next week 7 first team players who all randomly missed/were suspended for yesterdays game come back in...their settled line up returns I think they'll smack Flinders..must've been a good win for SV to beat COmets so under manned!

According to my sources, both teams were missing several first choice regulars.

Amateur League obviously doesn't listen to the phone calls it gets. Has the Breakers vs Iggies results the wrong way around. They must've read AHOS' post.

I email them. They usually rectify it, but sometimes not until they have to update some other results.
