I suppose I have to give them a chance. Time will tell. These so called "dyed in the wool Parafield Gardens stalwarts" have jumped like rats from a sinking ship.
What the chances they wont do it to us ? Thats what bothers me.

In fairness, Steve is a coach and coaches will change jobs. Shane is starting his coaching career and spending time away from Gardens would greatly help him given that they would have to coach a lot of mates at Gardens and that is never easy.

Good appointments by Inter in my mind.

What an absurd way to look at things. You've inherited a coach from a club that won the double 2 years in a row, as well as Shane who is a fantastic bloke - that will make a great coach. Surely you'd be excited at the year ahead, rather than look at it in a negative manner??

2012 was very likely to be his last there. He nearly didn't in 2012 to begin with. I think most were surprised he went elsewhere in the SAASL.

All valid points, and yes certainly an absurd way to look at both appointments! sounds as if Magic either wanted the job or had a close tie to someone that may of. either way i doubt to many others would of had the credentials of Steve, certainly in recent years. shane also comes across as an experienced coach in his own right, he has been coaching at other levels for years and had been helping Steve as an assistant over the last year or two i'm lead to beleive. Inter also sees the return of past legend, player & coach Barrie Cook, his aim is to assist Steve & Shane. next year will also mark 20 years since he first coached SISC in which he coached them to 2nd in the league & a cup victory!
Inter is obviously excited about all 3 appointments and all the current playing group have committed to another season at the club, as well as a few new faces
