we do lack the next goal that kills teams off. however we always seem to struggle in november no matter what year it is so as long as were still close im not to worried.
weve already done the job to qualify for the round of 16 so worry about your own crop mate.

Don't you mean still need to do the job on the last matchday, could still miss out if they draw or lose

Won't half laugh if that statement comes back to bite you on the bum. I know it's only Partizan but you've got the tightest group on paper. Stranger things have happened.

Finally we are seeing the squad shake the injuries (touch wood).
RVP playing 73 mins, Emmanuel-Thomas back, Vela and Walcott all playing at near or very close full-fitness.
Where's Verms :?: :?: :?: Need him back asap :D

After a "mini collapse" according to the british papers, we are starting to see the consistency come back, albeit, slowly.
Sitting top, although Man Utd have a gamie in hand and should win to take them top. As they say, it's better to have the runs on the board :D
Looking forward to a hopeful injury free and loss free christmas period (fingers crossed) 8)

Very true, Cesc is almost a certain starter for the Man Utd clash

Lyon, Roma, Valencia, Marseille, Copenhagen and AC Milan.

Not too fussed who we draw tbh, there's no easy games once it's knockout. Based on the weather, probably Roma or Marseille, wouldn't fancy going to Denmark in February.

i know this thread doesn't get much attention so thought i'd bump by saying im on the gooner bandwagon for the title!!!!

ps - classic epl match on fox last night, spuds v gunners (4-5) at the lane in 2004. forgotten how brilliant that squad was; henry, bergkamp, lungberg, pires, reyes, a very young cesc, cashley dominating the left side, a young RVP off the bench, vieira anchoring the midfield. imho just pips man u's 3 in a row squad from late 90s early 2000s as best in EPL history.

it would be a detriment to football if man u of 2010/12 are put on a similar pedastal to the arsenal invincibles team.

You're probably correct with most of this (apart from them being better than United's treble team) and you probably won't find a United fan anywhere saying that this team is as good as Arsenal's invincibles. But if this team goes the season unbeaten (which I don't think they will) then it will still be a great achievement and the history books will say as much.

Good result after the disaster at St James' Park.
RVP offered a new 5yr deal...... Maybe, just maybe he might play half the allocated games in this period....too soft, but magic when on song.

 Now we see what goes on in the Arsenal changing rooms. I'm surprised Song doesn't object.
