My sister in law brought me back a maradona figurine from her trip to Argentina and I told her we are on a good streak at the moment and it would bring Napoli bad luck for some reason.

Since i put him in my napoliroom

we have lost in europa league
lost vs inter
lost vs bologna
lost coppa italia
-2 point deduction
lost cannavaro and grava (no loss there really, cannavaro has been shocking the last few months)

this morning i put him in the drawer so he stays in the dark for the rest of the season!!

3 points v Siena is what im hoping then we can go into the break and re-assess.

Last time I checked it's not an AUFC supporters only forum

Amen to that.

Honestly, I cannot remember him playing a good game for us. Caused me to have several coronary incidents in his 4 or 5 seasons at the club.

Cant pass, cant cross, constant fouls, send offs, back passes in the last minute of games, own goal vs Lazio in 2011 when we came out of nowhere to equalize. The guy is a fucking walking disaster. I believe De Laurentiis paid Zamparini to sign him. The worst long ball merchant I have seen of an Italian background. Boot it and hope Cavani pulls something out his ass.

Good fucking riddance.

He's won a Coppa already. Juventus are too far ahead of us, so no scudetto this year.

Same could be said of Eden Hazard - he will win nothing this year either. What's your point? Do all players just up and leave when things dont go their way. Does this mean Suarez will leave - he probably wont play CL in the next 5 years, let alone win anything. It took RVP 10 years to leave arsenal.

There are 5 very very good players in that side and its a work in progress.

anyone who thinks the scudetto race is over is crazy.

we saw juve's faults vs cagliari, inter and milan and now against sampdoria.

and its the first week of January!

i'd be looking at Lazio and Napoli as dark horses.

juve have parma away this week in another tricky game

continues to remain interesting, however wasn't all that surprised to see Parma get a point - they have a super home record and I don't think Juventus traditionally travel well to the Tardini.

Napoli weren't affected by Cavani not scoring yesterday, seems as if Maggio has decided he better start turning up for games again - that's a goal in each of the last 3 games starting with the one against Siena which was crucial.

Inler .... whoooooosh he only scores bombs!!!! And good to see little Lorenzinho with a beauty. His younger Brother Roberto making a debut at just 18 at home - great to see.

Milan had not drawn 0-0 for 35 rounds, since visiting Napoli on February 5 2012.

The Bianconeri have only won one of their last five League trips to the Tardini.

The Ducali have notched up 11 wins and four draws on home turf since their defeat to Milan in March 2012, their best run since the 1992-93 campaign when they went 20 games unbeaten.

Lazio notched up a fourth consecutive Serie A victory and extended their unbeaten streak to 10 wins and four draws in all competition.

Atalanta are now without an away goal in 400 minutes of football, leading to six consecutive defeats on their travels between League and Coppa Italia, their worst run since May 2010.

Edinson Cavani failed to find the net against his former Palermo teammates for the first time after four consecutive encounters on target.

The Rosanero have conquered the San Paolo just once in 26 Serie A and B matches, back in 1951, losing 18. The Rosanero have failed to score in their last four visits.

Roma haven’t won at the Massimino since a 2-1 result in 1970, followed by four draws, three defeats and one 2007 victory achieved on neutral turf in Lecce.

Zdenek Zeman has lost all four of his trips to Catania on the benches of Salernitana, Avellino and Roma.

Fiorentina have a poor record at the Friuli, losing six of their last seven visits.

All of Udinese’s last nine goals have been scored by either Antonio Di Natale (who is responsible for six) or Luis Muriel.

Lazio have a great chance to pick up some serious points in the next 10 rounds!!!!!!!!!!
having only to face 3 major tests with 2 of them at home
Palermo - Lazio
Lazio - Chievo
Genoa - Lazio
Lazio - Napoli
Siena - Lazio
Lazio - Pescara
Milan - Lazio
Lazio - Fiorentina
Torino - Lazio
Lazio - Catania

While Napoli will have to deal with 5 really tricky away games and the visit from Juve.
Fiorentina (a)
Parma (a)
Lazio (a)
Udinese (a)
Juventus (h)
Chievo (a)
in the next 10 rounds just to name a few!

No easy task for Juve either with the likes of Udinese, Fiorentina, Roma, Napoli and Inter to play in the next 10 rounds!

Lazio could very well have a nice cushion come the last 8 rounds of the season

I dont think any of his goals for anyone in Serie A have been from closer than 25 yards.

Ill always remember that one for Udinese against us

Napoli have had their two-point penalty annulled on appeal in the match-fixing scandal with Paolo Cannavaro and Gianluca Grava also cleared.

Happy with the 2 points but since Cannavaro has been missing we have collected all 9 points on offer scoring 9 and only conceding the 1!

Will be interesting if he starts v the Viola on the weekend.

While were winning and not conceding Id keep him on the bench.

Avanti Napoli siamo tutti con voi!!!!!
