Someone sent me a PM a few days ago saying that you are nowhere near as stupid as this in real life.

I think they must have been winding me up.
Time for some righteous indignation

Did they also tell you he was 6ft tall?

You could be right Dudley, it was always going to be the worry.
The yanks will give him another year almost guaranteed, but
1 things for sure, we'll have to start performing consistently
& making a real sustained improvement in the
League if he wants to keep his job.
The 5 year plan has been going since 1998, and
Its getting tiresome.
I remember the glory years when Spurs, Villa and City were all happy
To win a cup and pray a miracle happened and they managed to bag
A chance at winning the league, sadly Liverpool are there now and apart from 2005 to 2007 we aint looked like sustaining anything, but we have
To remember that Ferguson was 45 mins away from
The sack when Mark Robbins scored against Forest in 1990, so we should wait and see what happens next season.
Truth is, its not been good being a Liverpool fan for a long time, but that's the way it goes, love it or loathe it I was born to be a Liverpool fan, its in the blood.
The young boys said unto him....."go up baldhead, go up"......so he did, rose like a salmon and nodded the ball into the net......1 nil! :-)

"I think we've got good players," Dalglish told the Liverpool Echo. "It's a good squad and I have always said we have got that. You don't get to an FA Cup semi-final and win the Carling Cup if you aren't.

i think the guy is still living in the 80's tbh , those cups are just a bit of fun for the reserves players these days aren't they?

the squad is just ok i guess, the starting 11 is allwight but they could find better players if they broadened their perspective a little. Maybe the players are a little confused , perhaps when KD goes there won't be so many grey areas for the players, it might become more black and white.

Ask Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle (as Liverpool's current co-aspirational peers, i.e. qualifying for the Champion's League) how much they'd like to win a cup or two this season.

I think it's pretty obvious to everyone that the cup runs this season are papering over the cracks at Anfield.

I suppose he did win a double with a team he inherited, fair achievement though as player manager. As far as success in Europe as a manager goes, none existent.

So why did you mention his success in Europe then? Are you including his exploits as a player to make him seem like a better manager?

Suarez, Adam, Downing have created 151 chances in the league. More than Agüero, Nasri, Y.Toure (146) or Rooney, Young, Valencia (127). Trio.
Liverpool have hit 16 more shots on target than United but have scored 42 goals fewer.
28 - Liverpool have now hit the woodwork 28 times in the Premier League this season – nine more times than any other team. Whisker
7 - Robin van Persie has hit the woodwork seven times in the PL this season, only Luis Suárez (8) has done so more often. Thud.

Sounds like Liverpool need to learn to finish more than any other team. Obviously.

Just proving, don't need an overhaul just need someone to partner Suarez and stick it in the back of the net - discuss details later.

I rkn if Fowler was in his prime in this Liverpool side he'd have the league top scorer all wrapped up by now.

Does that mean you've given up defending the hapless Carroll?
