I've heard he's not the only one who may be leavingJay Walking wrote:

the big tip is that the coach is a very wanted man, lots of dollars on the table
to entice him away, at least one super league club and 2 amateur clubs breaking the bank
to secure his services.
Can the farm match his $ worth?

Well in Jonsey. I dont know if he reads this, but he certainly has been a great player for the farm over the years and div1. Always up there in the goal scoring charts and I'm sure the farmers will struggle to easily find someone to fill his boots. I cant imaging having to walk away just yet. It would be tough cos I am sure he could go on.Jay Walking wrote: 2 - Its not really a secret but that was Paul Jones' last game of football. Very professional in the way he goes about it, very talented but never just left it to his abilities, he worked so hard on game day and at training. A huge loss for us and will be missed on and off the park. It was a tough last speech he gave to all the boys at the end of the game on the pitch and a few tears were shed, one may have been mine. Absoulte pleasure having him around the club and everyone at the Ingle Farm Soccer Club wishes him all the best.

Simmo gets chased every year... so far he has stayed with the farm, i doubt he gets paid much currently, he serves on the committee, he puts in a lot of effort behind the scenes... from my time with the club it seems there are things more important to Simmo that money!Jonny Lidon wrote:I've heard he's not the only one who may be leaving the big tip is that the coach is a very wanted man, lots of dollars on the table to entice him away, at least one super league club and 2 amateur clubs breaking the bank to secure his services. Just looking at the match fixtures, wouldve been a long day for the Ingle Farm boys - would your guys ( players, supporters etc )have preferred a venue with 2 pitches for the semi final ( eg Grange ) ?
Should the semi finals be played on 2 pitches at Grange, make for a shorter day, or having a 3 or 4 hour gap between your A's + B's playing if played at Hindmarsh ? Thoughts please![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Clubs who have never played at Hindmarsh would probably go for the latter option ?

Re: Cup Semi's & Cup Final
Thought the referee in todays A's final was very poor.
Blatant penalty to downs not given in the first half, then how trimboli remained on the pitch I still have no idea.
