He was actually playing quite well considering the score & was probably one of their best players (I guess when you have a busy day in goal your bound to be in best players) but obviously got frustrated in the end.Kitchimo wrote:So he will be suspended this week? heckling from the sidelines coming my way I guess.LUFC wrote:5courgarsthanx being a thug again.

Wow, they cant be all that bad if they knocked off a Div 1 side. Were Pontians at full strength? Anyone see the match? Brief summation?

Actually didn't play bud. Mothers day commitments. Although we had a poor squad, still not a result we are proud of.LUFC wrote:5courgarsthanx being a thug again.

This reminded me of something I found in the "shed" just recently...lefty wrote:No mate 5 was the highest but had it not been for Cougars keeper (could only save goals with his feet) we might of seen some players score 6 or 7.
Funny thing was the Cougars subbed their coach during the game as he got caught up in a bit of banter with the Gardens supporters
From memory it was the early 90's and I think Martin Craig scored either 9 or 13 goals in this game

and he is available again this year for the Reserves Cup for Ingle Farm, where his appearance last year helped inspire a 3-0 cup triumph over the heavily backed in favourite, Hahndorf.
