The only 150 kids that trialled for Bulleen was the ones that came out last November in order to play for the club.

The club had to hold sessions every night over a 5 day period in order to accomodate seeing all the triallist & this took place over a 2 week period.
Same as any other club that has trials in order to choose their squad for the season.

Interesting to note that the Sutherland Sharks was a rrepresentative regional squad - covering the Sutherland Shire Council
region - but a way above any of the clubs that took place in this tournament.

The Qld state comp was only held two weeks before the Melbourne finals

Some Mums and Dads would have had to make some hasty travel arrangements.
Thats true but surely the consequences would have spelt out before they entered the tournament here in Adelaide.
:?:

What consequences - I was talking about Queensland = Qld ^^

Who cares anyway, it was it was just a passing observation.
No disrespect intended Matey.
Who?... Who is but a form, followed by the function of what... And what I am, is a man in a mask!

Yes - Bulleen had to go through a qualifying tournament in which took place over a couple of weekends in late Feb - early March.

Due to the amount of clubs that took part it was held over consecutive weekends with the final played on a Wednesday night in which Bulleen played Richmond & won on penalties.

I thought all teams had to qualify.
