Tongue and cheek, have you just read what you have written??nugget66 wrote:What a FK wit thing to say about another club as chairman of your club Jay, this forum is mostly tounge in cheek stuff but to write sh*t about our club like that on this forum Jay FK you!!!Jay Walking wrote: We were pleasently surprised with how much food and drink they bought also as they have a reputation for bringing their own but must give credit to them yesterday, they certainly supported the BBQ and Bar.

but to say our club have a reputation for it, how the FK would INGLE FARM know you've only been in the 1st Division for a few years WANKER!!!
You definitely do not have the ability to take any criticism dealt towards the Gardens with a grain of salt. You are more then happy to bag any other club on this forum with you bold letter statements but when it comes towards the Gardens, you react like a 5 year old child who just had his lollypop taken off him by his mum. Being a former club president yourself, it is shocking to read your reaction but not surprising from past posts and you definitely do the Gardens no favors by writing that garbage.
Unfortunately the Gardens have had this reputation in the PAST, along with other clubs, and it has been well document on this public forum many time for all the read. I read what JasWalking wrote and it clearly comes across as a compliment towards the Gardens. No doubt it looks like they have turned a leaf from the past and that is great to hear if they have. After all, we are all hear to ensure this league survives and this can only be done if we all chip in to help other clubs when we play away. We have all read your thoughts on this subject in past posts so there is no point elaborating any further.
Your bold remarks are getting a little long winded, time to stop selecting the little B box in the top left hand corner, grow up and be a little more diplomatic about what you read and how you react otherwise do us all a favor and don’t write it at all.

Every time Jay says something nice about anyone else's club you call him an ar$elicker. He gives you guys a compliment (albeit a back-handed one) and you start crying like he just ate your last cookie.
Re: SUNDAY LEAGUE RESULTS - 2009/06/21
I have never and would never bag another club for there supporters not buying from our club.
Even though some dont, and I certainly wouldn't take the soft option and say that other clubs say they have the reputation for bringing there own!
To say Gardens have had that reputation is a joke! Ask the Downs, Vale, Westies and most other clubs Gardens have allways brought a crowd and is a good day for most over the bar, may-be a couple of our supporters over the years have brought there own drinks but what club dosnt has them.
I have never and would never cast aspersions like that on another club.
Most of whats written on here is tounge in cheek and for a bit of a laugh and to get a few bites.
May-be I took Jay's backhand compliment to heart, sorry I'm passionate about the club I support.

I was the TTG lad who rolled my ankle. Not as bad as first thought but I've torn my ligaments & will be out for at least 6 weeks. Hopefully my ankle responds well to physio & I can get back before the end of the season.King Eric Bloodaxe wrote: The goals we scored were from your mistakes??? First goal we had possesion for at least 7-8 passes on the edge of the area before passing wide then a quality ball to the back post for a header as a midfielder worked into a quality position to finish.....name the mistake there you made??.
Second goal was a shot on the turn from the edge of the 18yd box which your keeper at full stretch could only parry our midfielder followed up with conviction and put it away...name the mistake there?.
Was a quality game today, hope the TTG lad that rolled his ankle is ok.
I'd like to say thanks to all the Vikings guys who helped me get off the pitch on the stretcher and made sure I was ok before the ambulance got there. Great bunch of lads & a quality team. Definetly the best side I've played against this season. Although I was disappointed the score got to 5-2 in the B's, thought we we're better than that. In the A's the Vikings took their chances & we didn't but their keeper was superb.
Thanks to all the Gully crew as well, hopefully be back out there sooner rather than later. Cheers.

Had our fair share of the play & chances yeterday but unfortuantly gave away a silly goal late on. Even after we were down we still created chances to score but credit to Chris & co they played well at home & got the required luck on the day, thats football. Still there was alot of positivies we can take from the game & we aint out of it yet
Move onto Fulham @ home & a good chance for us to get back on track with a game against the Downs on the horizon.
Been in this league long enough to know it aint even close to being over & 5 points between the top 5 is not alot with each other still to play!
dont think its been this close in years at the half way mark

And who would you be? Haywood is a good mate of mine and its a tongue in cheek comment, Ive looked at your posts and over 70% are to do with the womens team, that leaves me to think you know stuff all about anything to do with football. Call me what you want BUT its obvious you know nothing about me or football at all. So shut the fuck up boxhead.

If it makes you happy, I wont pay your club another compliment again. What I'm basing what I have said on is the last 3 seasons that we have been in the first division and recent stats are always the best ones. Of the big drawing crowds, namely the mighty Parafield Gardens, the meek Vale, Downs, West and Florina, our bar takings when you guys play at our ground would sit around 4th yet you bring the second biggest crowd previously on average. Not only that, there are lots of bottles of drinks we dont sell which we find in and around the bin. I'm not casting dispersions upon your good self, nor am I saying that previously every Gardens player and supporter did this. Haywood has always hung around for a drink, Chris Cockayne is always at the bar among many others that I know or know of at Gardens. What I'm saying is that there is a high proporation of your supporters that would bring their own drinks compared to others and if you talk to other clubs in Div 1, they would say similar things about Gardens. Well they have when I've spoken to them about it anyway. Honestly, Vale was our best day of sales last season.
What I tried to highlight is that the assumption or reputation which Gardens may or may not have was thrown out the window on Sunday as we were very pleased with what you guys bought on Sunday. You eat all the food, drank almost all the drink and I wanted to say a big thank you to a club who might not always get recognition for doing this. I am full of praise for your club from Sunday as they put on a great show in 3 games, the crowd was boistrious and had lots of banter but it never crossed the line. Even after a disappointing result, many of your players and supporters hung around for a drink and something to eat when it would of been easier to go home or back to our clubroom straight away. Even the amount of rubbish left on the sidelines was minimal compared to other clubs.
Yes we have some supporters who bring drinks to away and home games. We aren't immune from that issue. We encourage all of our players and supporters to support the oppositions bar and bbq but we can't stop it if they dont. I have heard the argument that if you can't support yourself then get out, dont rely on other clubs to top up your funds but the reality is that we are half to one quarter the size of clubs like your good selves, Vale, Downs and Westies. We do rely on what we sell at the BBQ and Bar which is why we try to have a good range of beers at a reasonable price ($4 for most unlike your $6 for most) and provide a variety of food to eat. (Yiros, Hamburger, Sausages, Hot Chips, Soup). We rely on very few to do a lot of work to be able to put a team out on the park each week. We probably pay the least of all bar one Div 1 clubs to our players and our coach doesn't get paid the big $$$ either and he would put more into the club in both money and help than he gets from it. So the bringing of drinks to a game will always be an issue for us and something that we take note of.
Sorry if you took offence to it mate, not having a go at you or the club directly, meerly pointing out something positive about your club.
If you don't like it, have an argument with the facts because they dont lie!
Look forward to the Scotch your buying me at your ground for the last game of the year

ohh, you must be referring to the blatant penalty not given by the ref at the downs last between us and c1. you know, when the ref said 'he got the ball' yet the football remained stationary and the ball of the players foot was taken from underneath him.marooned wrote:Uncle Cracker wroteGot some nerve to call other people cheats.

It happens everywhere - your first team got 3 points, be merry, get over it and see you in round 18 for a beer - sheesh!
