What makes him think he would get a game for Italy.

Anyway, very disappointed Lavezzi will be going. ADL needs to force someone to pay the 31 million releasse and not accept Inter's sh*t they dont want.

ADL needs to wake up and wake up fast.

We need players at the back, not guys that might be ok, he needs to go and buy some match hardened centre backs. News out of Spain is that there is contact with Atletico Madrid for Godin (CB for Uruguay also) and Luis Felipe (Left midfielder).

That would be a good start. Dossena needs to be shipped out as well.

Here you go :P
1 Year extension with an automatic option for another should he play in 23 matches for more than 45 minutes in each

Mazzarri has requested at least four top line players from ADL or he is out.

Lavezzi's agent has said the his client has no intention to move from Napoli and is not sure why there is so much speculation.

If we don't finish 3rd, I think the real danger is losing Cavani, not Lavezzi.

Mazzarri can go - I dont think anyone really cares if he stays or goes

especially after he's last 2 months...taking off Maggio against Bologna after 52 mins was the dumbest thing hes ever done in hes life

Lavezzis agent has come out and said its all rubbish about the Inter rumours

so I wouldnt believe everything you read

cant see pocho going to Inter without champions league either

i wont be upset if he goes to man city or psg but not Inter

but if we get Pandevm Ranocchia and 15 million like is quoted i'll be half-happy

Pandev wages will be a problem

Ranocchia is Aronica's love child

15m they will go out and buy 3 crap strikers which we will end up loaning out to Eastern block countries

while Insigne will keep banging in the goals for Pescara

Now that the season is over bar the Coppa, which players should we be targeting?

Offloading Lavezzi to PSG with a few extra selloffs we should have money in the kitty for splurge.

3 names i would like to target would be

Diego Godin - Athletico Madrid
Maxi Pereira - Benfica
Abel Hernandez - Palermo

My wishlist, trying to be realistic.
3 of the following would be nice.

Frank Tabanou - Tolouse
A left sided midfielder to replace Dossena.
Inter also keen & would be valued around $9M.

Rodrigo Palacio - Genoa.
I lke this rumor.
Budget replacement for Pocho.

Mehdi Benatia - Udinese
Add quality to back 3.

Matias Silvestre - Palermo
Add quality to the back 3.

Kwadwo Asamoah - Udinese
I love Gargano, but Asamoah is better.
Udinese have set his price at $15M.
Migliaccio from Palermo is more probable.

Others: Sebastian Giovinco, Borja Valero, Federico Peluso, Manolo Giabaddini, Pablo Armero, Diego Godin

How under-rated is Giovinco in Italy? I rate him highly and seems to consistently do well for Parma.

While Palacio may be a budget replacement for Lavezzi... doesn't mean he will be adequate. If Lavezzi goes to PSG for 31mil... then Napoli should be spending that amount on a replacement.

Giovinco has been brilliant for Parma but my guess is Rubentus will only use him as bait for Cavani.
If Pocho nets us $31M it would be difficult to find a player close to that value willing to come to Napoli instead of a club playing CL.
Giovinco may be one, Rossi & Jovetic possibly.
Im still hoping Vargas will live up to the hype and so will Insigne.

Theres something about Palacios that makes me think he would work well at Napoli. Versatile enough to play as a Striker or shift wider.
Naturally hard working, passionate & wears his heart on his sleeve. I think the city would take to him very well.

Probably worth more goals than Pocho but obviously there would be fewer assists.

Amid reports PSG have agreed a deal with Napoli, director Leonardo insists “we have not made any offer for Ezequiel Lavezzi.”

Numerous transfer experts and newspapers claim the French club already have an agreement for Pocho, who has a €31m buy-out clause on his contract.

“Lavezzi is an interesting player, but for now we have not made any offer for him,” director of sport Leonardo told rmcsport.fr.

This opens the door for Inter to get back into the running for the Argentine talent.

Napoli will talk to the agent of Lorenzo Insigne after the Coppa Italia Final to discuss his next move once his Pescara loan expires.

The Italian Under-21 international has made a real impact in Serie B this season and there is the suggestion that he could possibly replace Ezequiel Lavezzi at the San Paolo.

“He’s done really well to score 18 goals in Serie B,” representative Antonio Ottaiano told Radio Kiss Kiss on Wednesday.

“A replacement for Lavezzi? It all depends on how the club organise their attacking options. We’ll certainly meet with sporting director Riccardo Bigon after Sunday’s Cup Final against Juventus.

“All that is for certain at the moment is that Lorenzo will play in Serie A next season – at Napoli or somewhere else.”

If a San Paolo return is ruled out, the agent added that he’d like Insigne to continue playing for Zeman given their spell together at Foggia in the past too.

“The best solution would be for him to stay with the Czech Coach in the top flight. Two years ago, Bigon designed the path for Insigne which would gradually take Lorenzo back to Napoli.”

Zeman could stay at Pescara if they are promoted this season, while he’s also been linked with the Fiorentina job

Gianluca Vialli would rather see Edinson Cavani of Napoli at former club Juventus than Arsenal’s Robin Van Persie.

Reports yesterday suggested that the Old Lady had already enquired about the Dutchman, while they continue to be paired with the former Palermo ace.

“If money is not a problem then I would like to see Cavani in the Juventus shirt,” the former Chelsea boss told Tuttosport.

“He can play as a centre-forward or as a wide attacker. He already knows Italian football well and he always puts the ball away.

“You certainly wouldn’t be making a mistake in signing Van Persie, but I have the sensation that he won’t arrive in Italy.”

The Old Lady have also been paired with Brazilian international Leandro Damiao of Internacional.

“He intrigues me even if the club wouldn’t need a pure striker should they decide to keep Fabio Quagliarella and Marco Borriello,” the Sampdoria legend added.

Napoli will look to sign Rodrigo Palacio from Genoa this summer should they sell Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The latter is being linked with an exit as clubs such as Inter and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in his signature.

The Azzurri are ready to sell the forward if he asks for a move and they are already working on finding a replacement.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, contact has been made between Napoli chief Aurelio De Laurentiis and Genoa counterpart Enrico Preziosi.

Talks will continue next week, but the report adds that Genoa’s elevated asking price for the 30-year-old may be a problem.

Palacio scored 19 goals in 32 League games this term as the Rossoblu ensured safety on the last day of the campaign.

Very hard to see us getting any Udinese players (Benatia, Armero or Asamoah) now that they have qualified for the UCL. I hope we don't keep Pandev - his wages will be high and hasn't played well consistently. Also, Dossena will be on the way out.

CAVANI FOREVER - Il Matador dice si per altri 5 anni, ingaggio da 3mln. A giorni la fumata bianca..
Blindato di fatto l'attaccante e smentite le voci di mercato
17.05.2012 10:11 di Redazione Calcionapoli24.it
Fonte: Repubblica

Vinceremo tanto e vogliamo cominciare all’Olimpico ».

Zapata could be an option in defence after Villarreal's relegation.

Zapata, Benatia, Silvestre in please - Aronica, Aronica's mum and dad and his family out please.

Insigne back please, maybe Armero or Tabanou and also another centre midfielder, however if the rumour is correct and Hamsik plays deeper, we can go out and by another forward.

President Aurelio De Laurentiis reveals “nobody has offered the money I’m asking” for Ezequiel Lavezzi or Edinson Cavani, but if they did, "then I couldn’t hold back.”

Napoli have won the Coppa Italia, their first piece of silverware for 22 years, but the headlines are all about potential exits for their top stars.

“All these stories about supposed negotiations for the players are currently pure invention by journalists,” said De Laurentiis in today’s press conference.

“Whether it’s Cavani or Lavezzi, for now nobody has offered me the money I’m asking for.

“If that were to happen, then I couldn’t hold back in the face of a crazy offer.”

Lavezzi has a buy-out clause on his contract worth €32m, while Cavani’s price-tag is higher.

So far Inter, PSG, Anzhi and Manchester City have been linked with huge swoops for Napoli’s Tenors.

De Laurentiis held the press conference to confirm the team will begin pre-season training in Dimaro from July 10-23.

“I’d like to convince Chelsea to play against us again in a friendly, while I’d also want to face City and PSG.

“Certain aspects have to be agreed with Juventus, but the Italian Super Cup will definitely be played in Beijing.”
