How long can Arsenal keep Wenger whilst going 8 years trophyless?

Yeh he needs to deliver results....But before the 82nd minute, West Brom hadn't had a single shot on goal, compared to 22 the other way.

Don't worry, Downing will get an assist in the next game, Hendo will score and Reina won't fuck up and the future will be bright again.

We could be 15 points clear in the near future. As I've said before, there's plenty of room on the United wagon

My question had nothing to do with Arsenal, no need to get so defensive. Yes Arsenal have been trophyless, its been very hard to compete with the likes of Chelsea, Man U and City.

But for Liverpool to continue to say "its about rebuilding" Arsenal could say the same thing with all the players we have lost over the years and yet we are still hopefull of a top 3/4 finish and still in the FA Cup.

So what is your opinion on Rodgers? Give him until the end of season or another full season??

Aye?
Why would he be sacked at the end of the year? Are you a tabloid journo in disguise?

Arsenal have been saying that! AW says that all the time. You're hopefull of 3rd or 4th, so are we, so are Everton, spurs, chelsea, swansea. Theres 6 teams hopefull of 2 spots. Depends on who gets their act together and goes on a winning streak.

Its clearly rebuilding. BR has had the opportunity to bring in a few players of his own. You can see where he wants the team to go. We play the ball around well, defend pretty average, dont have enough options in attack and depth in general.
We are so inconsitant its not funny anymore. I would say give him another tranfer window or 2, another season and see where we are at then. Its pointless bringing anyone else in so they can rebuild and start all over again.
All BR's talk in the press is to try and give the team confidence. Thats the huge thing we dont seem to have.

You honestly think Liverpool have a chance of making top four?

Anyway so despite your "rebuilding" stage, you think its acceptable to be sitting 9th? I thought when you rebuild something it slowly comes together, as i said i havent seen too much progress with Liverpool under BR??

You keep dazzling yourself. How can a rebuild be anything but slow?
Of course 9th is unacceptable but you don't mind as much when you batter teams. A Sturridge would have had the game wrapped up at HT. Can't change the fact he was injured...

Liverpool can still make top4, in the same Swansea and WBA still can, but it's unlikely. Decent run home just need to play with some pride.

Mathematically yes, in the real world no.

He needs at least time or money, preferably both.

If the owner truly trusts Rodgers, you think he'd give him some money, and say go for it.

That's one thing you can't fault Arsenal for. Wenger has been trusted, and when he needs money they do give it to him ( more so than before). Same with Man U.

Rodgers is FSG's man. Anyone that thinks he will/should be sacked is a peanut.

He's got many years ahead of him at Liverpool, and I, for one, am happy to have him.

Dragging Arsenal into your post again Kop to try defend your club
Difference is we have survived the last 16 years with minmal $$ (due the the costruction of Emirates) & have maintained our top 4 status through out this time competing with the likes of Chelski, Citeh, United & the Spuds & with our best players being sold year after year...
Your lot we just hear excuse after excuse to your poor showing & you have hung onto this 'rebuilding stage' for to long... we all heard this when KK was appointed & look we hear again!!

the truth is that they don't care about the domestic cups (the top sides) unless they make the 1/4 finals, focus is on the league/CL whereas a stoke say will like a good cup run to try and sneak into europe and get a few extra pounds

I must be close to being in a padded cell…
Gooners taking big swipes like this, really. I mean c’mon your club is the perennial iceberg club. Just making up the numbers year after year for no end result.

Yes yes tears on my pillow for a business choosing to allocate capital towards capital projects rather than transfer spend. Dunno why you lot are deluded enough to wear this like a scouts badge of honour or something.

Happy to place nice football and the results will come, NOW will this return irony or ignorance from Arsenal fans.
