Farcical Futsal SA
How can an organisation request $700 from its players within 5 days for the national championships to be held in January???? The squad hasnt even been picked as i believe its a training squad atm, then threatened to pull the pin on the mens senior team if the required numbers havent paid up by Saturday 3pm.
How is this organisation meant to be taken seriously and be professional???
I can see why teams like Adelaide Fusion are formed.

Last time I checked it's not an AUFC supporters only forum
So no need to tell them to 'F OFF'

What a fucken joke, I've seen better organised bocce games at Aldinga beach compared to Futsal SA's efforts.

Re: Farcical Futsal SA
Well im fairly sure none of the players have $700 just lying around ready to deposit to Futsal SA by Saturday.. A handful of players are studying and require sponsorship money to be able to go to Canberra. Bottom line is that the team hasnt been selected yet so it seems like whoever can pay will go. Unfortunately I can see there being no Open Mens state team for 2012, which is unfortunate given the fact that scouts will be out to select players for Futsalroos Camp in preperation for the World Cup.cheesecake shop 2 wrote:How can an organisation request $700 from its players within 5 days for the national championships to be held in January???? Fusion was formed to take a step forward in Futsal here in SA, with the desire to work WITH Futsal SA to assist them in developing the sport.

Re: Farcical Futsal SA
unfortunately someone has to pay for the so called ""official leeches"" to go on their end of season summer holiday!!!!!
unqualified coaches with the exception of mr scalzi..........it makes me laugh when they shake the tin and ask for sponsership or donations......do they dig into their pockets?.....do they pay for their trip?........which is why i advise those selected to be wary.....

What other choices do players have though, if you want to have a chance of representing your country then you have to be at nationals so flawed or not (and i'm not saying one way or another) the players have to play if selected for the state team if they want to get in the shop window for Knights team. The vikings are non-existent in this state so there is no nationals for them to go to and be seen which really leaves only one option. We might not agree with the way that the sport is being run in this state but it's about time that more people like the Fusion and Eastern warriors boys stood and put their money where their mouth is, I would urge anyone regardless of their gripes with the current futsalSA heirarchy to get involved and start up a futsal team that is training all year round, I for one would be very interested in being a part of that set-up and would quite happily play futsal instead of outdoor.
