Hi everyone.

I have loaded this on behalf of Joma Australia just for everyones interest and opinion ? I would love to see somthing similair in Adelaide one day ?

I dont know all the ins and outs of this to be honest though as I had nothing to do with it.

The JOMA JAGUARS are ready for action and we will be raising the bar for Futsal Clubs in Australia.

Champions of the Victorian Futsal community Mark Georgeson and Jack Dugonjic, in collaboration with JOMA Sport, one of the worlds most respected and successful Futsal brands, have set about realizing a new concept in Futsal administration by partnering to establish the JOMA Jaguars Futsal Club in Melbourne.

‘The Joma Jaguars Melbourne Futsal Club is the culmination of many years work put into the sport by Jack (Dugonjic ) and I. We wanted to create a professional, futsal specific, environment for our junior players to aspire to. With our combined emerging talent from both junior clubs feeding into the Jaguars, the new senior club will have a solid platform to compete in the MFL, the emerging F League and in time the AFC Club Championships.’ (Mark Georgeson – CEO, JOMA Jaguars Melbourne)

‘We (JOMA) have great respect for the game of Futsal and really want to see it develop further in Australia. Spain has held the torch for many years with arguably the strongest League and most successful Club and National teams, but this sport is developing across the world at such a rate. The creation of the JOMA Jaguars is part of a broader agenda called the JOMA Sala Alliance established to facilitate the development of Futsal across Australia. The Alliance will work within the current structure of Futsal and enhance member development through:

· the creation of links between JOMA Supported clubs worldwide,
· support for Player and Coaching development through access to a wealth of resources and contacts (national and international),
· Player and Coach sponsorships,
· collaborate with Alliance members to establish and host tournaments and events to bring members together,
· a commitment to work with alliance members to support semi-professional senior players in their club teams,
· support for Alliance members to establish uniform and equipment supply and distribution strategies,
· support for the development of media for promotional purposes, such as hard copy media, website development and Facebook pages.

The JOMA Jaguars Coaching Staff will be headed up by the experienced Jack Dugonjic, who brings a wealth of futsal knowledge to the senior team. Trials and training sessions have already begun, with a squad of twenty players being sought for the 2012 MFL, F League and JOMA Sala Alliance Tournaments.
