He played for Polonia when I was there ( briefly in 1989)...
Think he played and coached up at one of the Pirie teams !
Was recently playing at Comets and coaching either 17's or 19's there too.

Yes it is correct.

Was going to put it up but beaten to it - has only just recently been appointed.

Has been at Comets and wanted a senior coaching role and now has his chance.

John has been coaching at 19 and reserves the last few years at Comets.

Correct swanny he played at Pirie for a couple of years and helped them up to what was then the highest Division.

Also played at Polonia and had 20 odd games for City at NSL level.

Cheers guys, gutsy appointment by Fulham. Good luck & hope all goes well.
What happened with Lawry? Thought he would still be there, been there a while.

Reserves management at Downs reappointed is the strong tip. Very talented new breed of coaching staff that every chick wants to be with and every bloke wants to be. Washed Up will be pleased.

Trimboli,

Word has it that you were at Argana doing a bit of pre - pre season yourself. Are my sources correct?

How many seasons have each coach, coached to win those titles?
s someone with one title from say 3 seasons better than someone who has 2 titles from 8 seasons?

Not so cut and dry...Depends on the squad at his disposal, where the club is at strength wise etc.

I thought the question was who was the best coach of 2011 that would have to be Steve

but to have this in the past 2 years and in his first stint as a coach would be hard to top :?: :?:

SAASL CHALLENGE CUP WINNER 2010 2011

Looks like you got the above from my signature Rat..

Coach of the year is a great idea and should be introduced within SAASL. I coach within FFSA & at the end of the each year I am sent an email with all coaches listed within your division, you then have an opporunity to vote for your choice and the award is determined by only the coaches votes & no other input.

Not that hard to implement SAASL & a great way to reward a coach for all their efforts
