Methinks pilots may have a few championship and Cup medals of his own !

He may have a few ....but now Pauly has League, Cup, CofC & now 3 Player of the year medals.......

Nice way to finish the year with one player from the A's B's and C's all picking up individual medals.

Rodent, you really live in the past man!! digging up old material I never.....anyway we got two more medals this year ourselves thanks for not asking!!! League Champions and Cup Runner up........ but until you quoted this typically we wouldnt have brought that up as us gully folk tend to be a bit more humble than some of those king numpties and the like who beat there chests to anyone who will listen long enough, well thats until they get bored and prefer to poke a stick in their eye that is....

LOL Orvil... I wasnt having a go at you.. merely stating too Swannsong that you may have a few but Pauly has picked a few more recently
dont be so precious..... Div 10 medals are hard to come by when your playing in Div 1 but im sure when Pauly decides to play over 35's he will probably get some more then too

I strongly disagree lippy I believe the Referee's are un-bias, have a good understanding of the game & are in a perfect position to award the matches best players.

Unbiased? do me a favour, how many times do you see a well known player get the rub of the green
as the ref's call them by their 1st name, the same can be said for a player with a bad reputation
the ref will have his card marked as soon as he walks onto the pitch and you disagree with this
then you sir are delusional.

Good understanding of the game? again please Nugget turn it up, how many times on here do we complain about the ref
not letting the game flow or lacking consistency?

The best position to award the best player is from the sidelines where you can take your eye off the ball and watch a
players movement etc etc, the ref should always be watching play

and are struggling to win games in Div 3 ...!!!

supporters are supposed to beat the drum for the club and its players....you dont see any of the players on here saying how good they are or what they have just won ....its only us supporters letting all that care to read how proud we are.

Numpty, if you act like a spanner, you are a spanner.

Let the other act like spanners and just be proud.

We got relegated in 2002 and followed it up to do the double relegation in 2003, then won promotion in 2004, 2005, 2006, 3rd three times in Div 2 and now relegated in 2010.

During the 3 years of promotion I can tell you if one of us acted like spanners on here we would have been told to pull our head in by our own.

i used to go watch the gully, but did you not leave and go play somewhere else after that first relegation, then come back?

Cant remember Pie Eater? I did come back the second year they got relegated but won the league with the c's with some mates that year as the coach of the A's at the time I couldnt work with. But started back with them the next and the rest is history...a good era for the club straight to Div 2 and a goal away from going to Div 1.

Gully are a young team now, skillful but need some experience, us lot though have all passed our due by dates, thats why we won the Div 10 medal instead.......
