I've noticed on the FFSA site when a team has 0 goals it doesn't always show up......like in this case

wonder if other game was 0-0 as well?............game being played mid-week

Played with 11 men, and were 3-0 down. The 17A's shafted them and left them with 11 players. The 17A's are 2nd to bottom, last game of the season against the bottom team and still they didn't drop players down to the C side who are top of the ladder and needed to win there last couple of games to win the league.
White City top with no more games to play and a 4 point lead over Croydon. I'm sure for the 2 catch up games that Croydon have in hand they will be playing the whole A's side and your C side wont be getting a game. You may be on here in a a weeks time complaining about how your son was dropped to bring down A players.
You cant have it both ways.
They where lucky white city lost there game as well on the weekend or else it would have gone to goal difference, and they would have lost it. The C side are just as good as the A's if not better. They have vsed eachother numerous of times in training matches and win most of them. Its not my sons team, but i do see your point.

Try playing only your C team for the last 2 matches, let them win the league without help. Then they would have won it deservedly (?).

You're missing the point - for most of the season their C side has been better than their A side. They're not looking for help, they just want their players back.
Time for some righteous indignation

Its a little strange to begin with, that you would have both the Croydon A's and B's both playing in the JPL. I would have thought 1 of them had to go to JSL. What will happen to the teams next year considering 16's finished middle of the table in A's.

If we are talking about U17's then there is no JSL competition. That also goes for U16s as well.

It will happen again next year if they dont get enough teams to form a JSL competition for the higher age groups.

Salisbury 0-5 Croydon

Great first half, we took it to Croydon and looked solid. 2 quick goals at the end of the half had us on the ropes.
From there I don't think we were really in it. Well played Croydon. You have some great spectators too. Chatted with an old guy tonite, same one I met at your ground, lovely man.

Sorry we ran out of steam in the 2nd half :(

Creat game form both sides. I belive most of the Salisbury boys were under 15 & 16, if so you will have a very strong side next year as the boys played well and ensured that croydon had to work hard for the win.

Thanks Grouch

I think only 2 or 3 are actual 17's, the rest are 16's with a few 15's thrown in :D quite a mix actually.
Add in a 14's keeper and you see why sometimes we just run out of puff.

All in all some great games this year, thanks to all other teams for som egood competition and congratulations Croydon.

Well done to Croydon on finishing off the season strongly to take the title. They might like to throw a few bouquets the way of 8th placed Noarlunga who made it possible by knocking off White City in the last round as well as Toros a few weeks earlier.
