Torres Miss
Perhaps the 50 million Euros could have been spent on someone else to get shooting lessons, instead of this guy

Haha, i think you guys are doing just fine without him at the moment!
Torres does need some shooting lessons though, I can't believe he missed that.

His reaction after the miss says it all. I think he knew what the newspaper headlines would be as soon as the ball left his foot.
Seemed to entertain the crowd, though

Re: Fernando Torres
looking at the replay a million times, the ball got away from him a bit on his non-preferred foot. He actually would of had time to take another touch and walk it in but yeah we all know what happened

Re: Fernando Torres
Spot on Chelseaperson. We've all seen that happen to others. Fernando's goal was all class & he could have had his hat-trick had he not dragged a shot a bit wide in the 1st half or blasted over after a good move in the 2nd. And his 1st half set-up for a team-mate to tap-in deserved better.Chelsea4thewin wrote:looking at the replay a million times, the ball got away from him a bit on his non-preferred foot. Class eventually rises to the top, as it will for Torres.

lol @ Liverpool fans
are you really happy that your supposed most hated rival just made enormous inroads into winning the EPL, or are you just plastic fans?

Re: Fernando Torres
just my opinion man they both should of slammed them into the back of the net and were really shocking missesLe King wrote:not really... the keeper/ player saved there shotsThe one and only wrote:ramires and berbatov's were just as bad really

but thats berbatov all over he scored alot of goals last year but he really is a shocking finisher imo and he misses alot of chances
I speak nothing but the truth
Re: Fernando Torres
Actually sick of all the media trying to make his miss so much more worse than it was, some articles actually calling it 'The worst miss in history.'
His finish just as the second half started was sublime, what followed was a horid miss, one that a professional should never ever miss but how many of those have we seen from great players? Giggs against Arsenal in an FA Cup Final, where he could've put United 1-0 up instead misses an open net and they go on to lose 2-0? Not the exact predicament Torres is in now but it was a huge chance in a trophy game with a lot of hype built on it.
I'm pretty sure before every game this season everyones asked the question 'Whens he going to score?' And he did exactly that but it looks like theres always going to be something to rip on. I'm not excusing his miss by all means I'm saying in future referance, if he was to score in our next three games and Chelsea win those next three, I'd imagine everyone would still be unimpressed

Re: Fernando Torres
It was a horrible miss but he's now getting in position to score, looks to be getting back to his best and he'll be sticking them away shortly. Form is temporary, class is permanent.

Re: Fernando Torres
it is perfectly fine to laugh at the man that stabbed us in the back, he's made a complete girl of himself since. but you're implying we should be crying every time they win? man u is an institution we have to bring down slowly. being happy that torres is getting what he deserves has nothing to do with being happy with man u winning. you're already very late in trying to troll that though, last season it came down to torres doing well or man u winning the title. if you followed football last season you could have typed about thatDer_Tiser wrote:lol @ Liverpool fans

You guys are starting to sound more and more like jealous teenage girlfriends, and less like football fans.
It's almost like every shot he misses is a little win in your miserable existence.

Tbh, I feel for Torres. He is obviously doin something right on the training track, or else the gaffer wouldn't start him.
I just think he was showing his class before the miss.
I really hope he starts scoring goals for Chelski, just not against us!
Torres to bag a couple avaunt the scousers

I really wish you'd stop writing random bs.... It lowers everyone's opinion of Liverpool fans.. Not fair to others really.

As i said, Move on. I'm sure you can do it if you really try. Otherwise you can always support Man U? At least when you make bias statements about your average midfield you can back them up with trophies.

I'd say something similar to you, but people's opinion of Chelsea's fans can't get any worse.

I think i'll be ignoring your stupidity from now on. Your comments about Torres are simply because you think he's a judas for leaving. You should learn to get over it instead of being little girls about it.
Absolute waste of time you are.
