Thanks for all the under 15s who stepped up for Modbury tonight, think there was 7 or 8 all up. They did a fantastic job especially up to half time but Paras just to strong and skillful in the end.

Agree entirely with you and full marks to our coach paul he possibly had the choice of bringing players down from 17s and 19s and chose not to but gave these younger players a chance to play in the old age group unlike some of the other clubs but won't mention them they know who they are that bring players down to win at all cost and leave the players out that have played in these sides all year but all of a sudden are not good enough I think it's called lets win at all costs well done Paul at least you can sleep at night

The 13s game a few weeks ago vs Croydon didn't have 14s in it? Your own players beg to differ..........

When you are bottom and can't get relegated or promoted why would you drop players, we can all bet if a win was needed to save relegation or the chance to get promotion into the As or win a league, those players would have been dropped not raised, don't waste your skin cells typing barney bananas....why can't clubs just be honest what is wrong with that.

3 with serious injuries out for rest of the season, 1 suspended, 1 interstate, 1 sick with flu, 1 unavailable. Only got 12 players in the team, hence why 8 players from 15s brought up. The 15s boys have supported the 16s for most of the season, and have acquitted themselves very well. Just a pity last night the team could not hold it together for the second half against a strong running Para Hills team.

The Para Hills boys had a great second half - good luck to them winning the league they are probably one of the few sides that has not brought down players from older age groups this season. Will be worthy winners if they finish on top.

Croydon 17C 2 - 3 Cove

Played with 11 men, and were 3-0 down. The 17A's shafted them and left them with 11 players. The 17A's are 2nd to bottom, last game of the season against the bottom team and still they didn't drop players down to the C side who are top of the ladder and needed to win there last couple of games to win the league.

U17C
Sturt 0 - 4 Salisbury.

So Croydon lost by playing their regular players, no A's?
Welcome to reality, some of us haven't had that luxury all year, we've brought up 15's.

They had there usually team, minus about 4 kids because the A's took them and injuries. If you have the opportunity to bring players down for the last couple of games to win the league why wouldn't you? Any players would have helped at the end of the day, being able to sub is better then nothing.

U/17s - WT Birkalla played a really good game today, they will finish a disapointing 5th but I feel if they were more consistant they could have finished top 3

U17A mini grand final

Para Hills 3-2 ABE

Congratulations to Para on winning the title. Good game, could have gone either way, Para just had the edge when it counted.

Great effort by the ABE lads to finish second given some of the BS you've had to put up with at times this season.

White City top with no more games to play and a 4 point lead over Croydon. I'm sure for the 2 catch up games that Croydon have in hand they will be playing the whole A's side and your C side wont be getting a game. You may be on here in a a weeks time complaining about how your son was dropped to bring down A players.
You cant have it both ways.

:D :D :D well said. We have had to bring players from the 15s as well.
But you do get satisfaction when the younger ones play out of there skin and add to the team
