i think osieck is letting him settle at monchengladbach, should see him in a squad soon enough if he keeps his good form up

another val beat up i suggest to make a good 'Adelaide' headline without actually knowing what was going on behind the scenes (much like the 'international player' crisis).

Re: Socceroos v Thailand
only 3 aussie based players and we have 2 of them (not counting kewell....yet)
good to see they are in mind but almost zero chance of being in the final 18

Re: Socceroos v Thailand
good talent pool right there for the qualifiers, with a few more like herd, lowery and leckie to come in, langerak as 4th keeper, things look alright, ryan mcgowan would be around the mark too

Re: Socceroos v Thailand
so there you go, Val beating to his own drum, not one AU player in the squad.
I assume if Van Dijk is eligible, he would be in Indonesian squad, however.

his passport could take ages, as he has to lose his dutch one too i do believe?fantasista wrote:so there you go, Val beating to his own drum, not one AU player in the squad.

Re: Socceroos v Thailand

Re: Socceroos v Thailand
Sarayuth Chaikamdee will be the one to watch, when I was in Bangkok I watched them train and he is dynamite. Usually sporting the number 9 Jersey he will be the key to Thailands strike force.

Re: Socceroos v Thailand
i aggree, we were having a bbq 15 of us an my god ,
the performance was absolute sa ka ta,,,,,well done thailand for showing you can play,
for the socceroos, u are shiet with the wide passes all night,
if you wanna play like that, i think yah ore to sack vidi's influence on the training, cause thats where adelaide got undone...an seeing vid brought back loss memories.
the fifa game tgmatty an oska were playing (adel utd vs victory) was better to watch as tgmatty kicked tards asses 5 nill....was fun an i was chanting all thru the game, missing me a-league so bad,

Re: Socceroos v Thailand
If Brett Emo continues to cross like he did last night, he will be no threat to the A League.
below par performance.
Grella, Bresciano to be recalled shortly, Kilkenny & Valeri looked like lost sheep.
Neil over weight and over the hill.
Spiranavic, questionable, feel safer with Sasa
Kruse looks like be can still improve.
BOG- Holman
Anyway thank fk we won
