Saturday div 5 only if Modbury switches their first team with their div 5/c's ; Cove and Uni both have the bottom 2 teams this week.

Our c's aint goin to the cove, so mark the cove down as a win by forfeit. Apologies to the cove if they have not been told, or were looking forward to boosting their goal diff by ten orChade wrote:Saturday div 5 only if Modbury switches their first team with their div 5/c's ; Cove and Uni both have the bottom 2 teams this week.

Have heard this news from this site & understand the Cove's coach received a call from the league advising Modbury are to forfeit this weekend's game.
Pity.
Particularly with one of our 'new' lads still in the running for top goal scorer.
Yeah, the Cove's coach is trying to organise a trial match to replace the Modbury fixture - to be viewed as an entre to the BBQ & beer afterwards

Sturt Marion wouldve love to have taken you up on the offer,as we enjoyed both games we played against you ( actually we enjoyed every team we played against )unfortunately some players already made other plans. I think there is some kind of horse race day happening Saturday, some players are going there, and we have a few playing for the B's this week, and I have already made other plans for the day. Maybe the Modbury lads( best bunch ) can change their minds and be enticed by your post match offerCovehead wrote:Have heard this news from this site & understand the Cove's coach received a call from the league advising Modbury are to forfeit this weekend's game.
