SA U12 Boys semi finalist 2007 National Futsal Championship
2007 National Futsal Championships
U12 Boys results:
Day 1 - 9th January 2007
SA 22 – Queensland Crusaders 2
SA 7 – Victoria 4
Day 2 – 10th January 2007
SA 5 – ACT Cobras 8
SA 15 – Queensland Raiders 2
Day 3 – 11h January 2007
SA 10 – NSW Lightning 1
SA finished 2nd in their group and played Tasmania in the Q/F
Q/F Day 3 - 11th January
SA 5 – Tasmania 4
Semi Final Day 3 - 11th January
SA 4 LOST TO NSW Thunder 9
FINAL RESULT NSW THUNDER 5 defeated Victoria 3
James Parker won the ‘Golden Boot’ for top goal scorer in the u12 Boys competition. This was an excellent achievement at the National Championships by James who scored 22 goals in 7 games. Dion Kirk was voted SA’s best player by coach Stuart Parker and Manager Lenny Cali.
Every player in the team performed magnificently and represented SA with distinction. They can all be very proud of the teams performance and should now set their sights on going all the way in 2008.
