Soccer time per week is over 6 hours, it teaches not only skills but team bonding, friendships, fitness, respect, loyalty and these things you cannot put a price on.
I hope that when the junior players "grow up" they will keep the good values taught during these years and develop into mature men.
I would rather pay these fees and have a child who is fit, happy and has lots of mates from soccer, than not pay and have one than runs off the rails, which is what can happen. All the child "experts" tell parents to keep kids in sporting teams.
I applaud the coaches and managers for their dedication, without them, there probably wouldnt be any junior teams...and if they can get even a little of "whatever" as payment, then good.
