Another Greek Tragedy?

Post by Old Master »

Maccabi Tel Aviv lost 2-1 at Panathinaikos but advanced on aggregate after winning the first leg 3-0.

The match was marred by crowd trouble, however, with game being stopped after just five minutes when riot police fired tear gas to break up a fight.

The game resumed after about half-an-hour, but play was interrupted again in the second half after fans threw flares onto the pitch, and set fire to the stands.
The older I get the better I was.

   Mega, they gotta have one of their worst squads in recent history. I hear they have the same problem the Government does. Maybe it was a Pana supporter who helped get the country into shit to begin with. Typical.

Any time I see you wearing anything to do with Olympiakos I'll douse you in petrol a burn you...............
This shall start as of 12:00pm Sunday 28th of August.

Oh and you will forfeit $50 for every time you've worn an OSFP top since you started at Olympic. This fee is payable before Wednesday the 31st of August. Amount owing is $750........
I accept (and prefer) cash.

$750 is pocket change compared to what I'm gonna charge you for running the line at all those home games. If I knew what "assistant" meant before I joined, I would of asked for a company car amongst other things

Deep down though, you love OLY, I know you do. I see it in your eyes everytime I wear the spray jacket with the big emblem on the back

How did you know I was from Kent?

Anyway, I have signatures off so it doesn't affect me.

If that had happened in England, we'd have been banned for 5 years by now.

True. We have won one, not even amongst our greatest sides. But, as a club, we are not about to spend 700mil pounds to correct that either

As per usual? Plaka mas kaneis?.
No Greek team has done anything to be proud about for about a decade.

Greek tradegy is within the league not in europe:
Iraklis dropped, Volou and Kavala booted to amateurs, Asteras who were relegated then un-relegated then dropped for match fixing overnight.
4 games into season, some teams only played 2. League currently 13 teams & they don't know if they'll admit more but the results the teams have played vs Asteras will supposedly still stand.

Meanwhile it's October and there is no start date for 2nd and 3rd divs as the teams keep changing!! Bear in mind last year's season didn't finish till August.

SA local leagues are better organised...

Oh yep +1

The fact that the FFSA is better organized is really saying something. After booting out Volou and Kavala, they were just better off running the 1st Div with 2 less teams for the season, and then they should of just ran with the other 2 divs as they were and while still investigating the probe and concluding the investigation, they could of taken action against the rest at the end of the season so as to not fuck up the whole competition. Olympiakos had a real good chance of progressing from their Champions league group this year but with no real competitive games because of the late start coupled with our no games against the teams thrown out in the first couple of weeks, we've played as many Champions League games as we have domestic games and so we've gone in underdone and still could and probably should have easily got a result against Arsenal midweek. It's a bloody shambles. The whole Χώρα is a mess at the moment Γαμοτο :(

pretty sure you're wrong.

Last 3 years, head to head:
AEK wins: 8
PAOK wins: 4
Draws: 3
And since you say last 3 years only I leave out the 0-4 in Toumba in April 08. Remember that poutsa?

Like I said, well done, maybe you'll catch up soon.
