I will be interested to see whether or not you post a review when United lose a game or play out a dull away draw. I'm not willing to get into the Lucas argument again as I feel my opinion on that matter is more than clear, I will once again state that I believe he is better than any CM or CDM United currently have. If you disagree then you are more than entitled to your wrong opinion.
Anderson and Carrick are better.

You guys played a spurs side who got it all wrong. Although you played well, it's a bit too early to claim the title but hey if you'd like to jinx your team, feel free too! ;)

Re: Manchester United vs. Tottenham Hotspur (NDR's Match Rev
It's good to see people are getting into this topic, which is what i wanted to see. That's the point of this game. I will be posting these reviews on the games i feel are necessary.
For e.g. This weekend, defenantly ill be covering United v Arsenal, and Liverpool's game. Liverpool's game because im impressed with what ive seen, so i want to give a round-up on what i think of them. The only reason i did united was because i only had thought of this idea of making reviews after the game had finished.
I believe Cleverly is a good player, but he still has alot to improve on. Lucas is more accomplished and has more experience. Theoretically, Lucas is the better player, but the way Tom is going, he has the potential to be a Lucas of the future, and better.
This is all my opinion, and im glad alot of you have continued the debate on. That's what the topic is here for.
Thankyou all who have contributed to this thread the appropriate way.

Re: Manchester United vs. Tottenham Hotspur (NDR's Match Rev
I see where your coming from. United played really well, and Tottenham were average. Im glad Tottenham played less directly than alot of those other teams, e.g. Bolton agains't City. It's getting to my nerve seeing all these teams go against the bigger clubs and play directly. The commentators got it spot on during the united game saying that all these lower league teams need to go out and face the bigger clubs thinking, "we can play football too". That's the mentality. United just outclassed Tottenham, which is why Tottenham weren't good.totsreds08 wrote:You guys played a spurs side who got it all wrong. People keep saying, Tottenham was rubbish which made United's win easier. No it didn't. United played better which made Tottenham struggle. Fergie's tactics proved the difference.
United's team this year is better than there's was last year. Alot of people are saying City is united's big threat. I honestly think Liverpool are. The community shield proved the point to me that City isn't the team to beat. United beat them with all their youngsters bar a couple of them. And they did the same agains't WBA and Spurs.
Liverpool look good this season, and will be a good challenge for united. Time will tell, if City beat Tottenham this weekend, i might put City back in the list. But, if Tottenham beats them, well then theres something to be worried about. United should beat Arsenal, but Arsenal will have something to prove with all their majors out.
It should be a good week, and i thank you for your opinion. But, you cant just claim that im one sided saying united will win the title. I THINK they will, thus meaning im not 100% sure.

You can't have a balanced opinion on this thread, your ban should be here shortly. Lucas better then any united cm, you must be joking. I guess Aurelio is better than Evra and Christian poulsen is better than Nani.Lucas is god wrote:You said it really got on your 'nerve' as in a solitary nerve. If you have a singular nerve you should seek medical help.

Same old Liverpool crap. I'm sure they will be on a high after beating Exeter 3-1 with a full strength squad.
On another not keep up the reviews NDR

Carrick? No chance.
Anderson?

Fletcher? Comes closest, but no.
Cleverly? Nope.
