Pontians v Downs

C's 2-2
B's 1-1
A's 1-1

Not often downs travel to pontians and manage to take points, but in all honesty the result should have been different in the B's. Pontians B's ref has definately got to be the worst we have had this season. A total cheat, and seriously he should be ashamed of his effort today. Blatantly one sided. Downs ressies were under strength and even when we were down to 10 men early, we never gave up and controlled a majority of the second half. We just couldn't put the ball away.

Apart from that it was hard soccer in all three games, all three were very physical.

Good luck to the Pontians boys for the rest of the season

I would suggest he is referring to the turn around from a loss last week to the same team? Just goes to show how much of a difference the incentive to play at hindmarsh is.... who scored for florina?

I would suggest he is referring to the turn around from a loss last week to the same team? Just goes to show how much of a difference the incentive to play at hindmarsh is.... who scored for florina?

To be honest both teams had chances and the result could have gone either way. Young Ama scored 2, one being a penalty in the dying seconds. And Gjaneto Babaj.

Day was about the reserves thou! Congrats to Thommo and all the boys in the resssies squad. Been a big year for the boys and they have performed well week in week out & deserve there championship. Well done guys enjoy the moment!
